Worst Movie you ever saw in the theater?

Recommended Posts

Mine was back in 00' "Battlefield Earth" . It was right after it came out -- Still cannot believe we stayed for the entire movie.

Kinjite - Charles Bronson flick. It was so bad my friends and I still refer to something that is exceptional awful as "Kinjite" (only we pronounce it KIN-JEET-E) :ninja:

Hulk

I don't remember much of it but I saw Robocop 2. I'm guessing it wasn't great.

The People Under The Stairs. Horrible cannibal horror flick. Plus the movie theater I saw it in was in a predominantly African American community, so not only was the movie terrible, but I had to deal with a theatre full of people talking to the screen.

I've walked out of a few movies in my lifetime. I heard Gene Siskel once say that if a movie doesnt get you in the first 15 minutes its not going to.

Probably the biggest suckwad movie i walked out of was the Sixth Sense.

Thats what I miss about living in the south :( when that happened some white guy would hold up a rope and the theater would get quite really fast after that.

Some years ago on Valentine's Day the mrs (36C) thought it would be romantic to go see a chick flick and she chose some POS with Christian Slater called Bed Of Roses :wall:

You had me at that -- Maybe the worst actor to be in a lot of movies.

Dr Zhivago

Mom and two older sisters. I was 6 or 7 years old. Coincidentally, the movie is 6 or 7 years long.

Might be a great flick, I don't know. But that decade in the theater I thought I was dying.

Went with some chick to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding. What a big fat steaming pile of excrement. Everyone around me was laughing it up, and I think I may have cracked a smile only once or twice.

Star Wars episode I

I'd say that definitely gets a nod.

I only walked out of two movies in my life. And one, I ended up liking upon a 2nd viewing.

One was Pulp Fiction. Other than SAJ, Travolta and Uma's shiit sucked.

The second was "Kiss of the Vampire". Good Gawd, what a raging pile of suckitude.

Of course, me and my BF once watched "Corvette Summer" probably a dozen times one summer. Mark Hamil and Annie Potts. SUCH a seriously bad movie - but we were little kids.

..with horrible taste. :o And a hard-on for Annie Potts.

Wow I don't judge do your employees seem willful in this or not ... because if it's rape I think that would really get wiffle's interest. If they are just bending over he likely just passes.

Pulp Fiction was great just for the Samuel L Jackson 1 liners alone!

I would also add Out of Africa to the list. I was 16 at t the time my mom dragged me with her to see it. If I would of had a can of Drano, I would of drank it.

I hated the "oooh we're so cool, we're doing drugs and dancing ironically" crap that they pulled early on.

Once I watched again and they got past that crap, the movie picked up quite nicely.
