North Korea Just Threatened To ‘Wipe America Off The Face Of The Earth

As the tensions between the United States of America and North Korea continue to rise, more disturbing rhetoric has been emanating from Pyongyang. There was an astonishing parade of military strength last weekend, that ostensibly displayed new long-range missiles, as well as tens of thousands of soldiers and vast array of weaponry. North Korea issued yet another defiant gesture toward the United States when it launched a missile in the hours succeeding the display, only for it to explode just moments after launch.
The act was described as a “provocation” by Mike Pence, who landed in South Korea for a 10 day tour, during which he has repeatedly reaffirmed the United States’ alliance with the South against a North Korean regime that appears to be psyching itself up for a major conflict.
Then a propaganda video shown during the Day of Sun festival – a holiday in celebration of Kim Jong-Un’s grandfather – depicted a submarine launching a missile at an American city, wreaking havoc and destruction. It’s thought that the video was another attempt to exhibit the size and strength of the North Korean military.
As if all of that wasn’t enough to be worried about, new reports published by state media in the North warn that the country will not remain a “passive onlooker” in the face of the prospect of military action against them, as well as making some extraordinary allegations against the United States.
A news report published by state newspaper The Rodong Sinmun makes for disturbing reading in the wake of recent events; “The DPRK will never remain a passive onlooker to the moves of the U.S. to provoke a biochemical war against it but will conclude the standoff with the U.S., the empire of evils, by wiping it off the face of the Earth,” It stated, adding “The US must not disregard the warning of the DPRK that its reckless military moves would lead to its most miserable final doom.”
Among the remarkable claims made in the piece are allegations that the United States is preparing to use biochemical weapons to wreak destruction in North Korea; “The U.S. has fully revealed its criminal scenario to make no scruple of using biochemical weapons to exterminate the Korean nation in order to realize its wild ambition for dominating the world,”
The news follows reports that Russian President Vladamir Putin is reshuffling troops to display a greater military presence at the country’s border with North Korea, ostensibly over concerns that the United States is preparing a military offensive in the country.
Russia and China are both reportedly concerned of a mass exodus from North Korea in the wake of military action, which could culminate in many thousands of North Korean civilians attempting to flee the country.
All of this comes as reports abound that North Korea intends to push ahead with a sixth nuclear test as part of its military program, in an open defiance of sanctions placed on the country by several international bodies. If you want to know more about the situation on the Korean peninsula, check out this map that shows the countries who would be at risk from North Korea’s long range missiles.
We all make mistakes (some more costly than others), but the worst kind of errors are the ones that that make us cringe with embarrassment every time we remember them. For me, the biggest screw-up I can remember was the time my family and I were on holiday, and I accidentally fell into a swimming pool a mere 10 minutes before we were due to leave the resort and drive to the airport. Since we would have missed our flight if we didn’t leave that very moment, I had to climb out of the pool and squelch into the car, and then dry my clothes under a hand-drier at the airport. My mother will never let me forget that little incident.

I'm pretty sure they can only reach California. We should start a gofundme to help them out.

I just hope they don't say anything crazy, like Obama's inauguration crowd was bigger than Trump's.

Which is more true:

A. Without California there is no US

B. Without the US there is no California

I'm gonna take my chances on B.

No. Haven't owned a physical comic since I was a little kid. Would prob make more money if I did though. I personally prop up nothing.

It's A, the rest of the country could disappear and we would carry on as if nothing happened. Cali by itself is the 6th biggest economy in the world. We don't need any other states. We allow them.

The east coast would be 100% fine without California, we may have a recession for close to a decade but we would recover.

Also that great economy won't be so great when you have to start footing the bill for your own military and all the other services the Federal government provides. Just saying. Plus all those "great" social programs you guys like so much would probably actually pass and you would have to try to figure out a way to pay for those as well.

You also aren't taking into account for all the tourism. A lot of it is domestic tourism and that would go down substantially if California was no longer part of the US. That 6th greatest economy would become the 50th greatest economy real quick.

Well yea we need the other states just like a kitchen needs a dishwasher and an army needs grunts. Also you are over analyzing it, I'm just talking trash.
