When Ed gets on one of these rants, I just feel like I'm the guys on the couch... Germans? Forget it, he's rolling.

Updated to say it seems the court could throw it back to D.C. to come up with a test for what is official vs non-official acts. I would think that things that are against the law would be enough...but who am I to get in the way of delay tactics.

Apparently, I'm not the only one who had this thought.

Trump's Historic Criminal Trial (David Pecker's testimony continues)

You should go with that---instead of the thought that you are being treated in the same manner you treat everyone else. -
The D.C. court decision was pretty decisive---just thinking throwing it back would be interesting on what they would ask them to reconsider. IMO, it's pretty pathetic that SCOTUS is even hearing this. If i were arguing this today, i would be tempted to show them the Declaration of Independence and remind them that want Trump is asking for is one of the reasons for our revolution against King George.

I listened to Alito awhile yesterday asking questions in the Idaho abortion case---it's pains me thinking about how much he contorts himself to reach some of his conclusions.

Horrible movie---like the Browns would win the draft in the first 7 picks.

You really didn't need two posts. But for the "Why" it's explained on that same page you provided the board the other day when we asked you to provide more info and sources. Look there. -

POW Also, if I was Trump, I would have been paying people to publish the MDougal story...I would have had her picture on the Goodyear Blimp flying over the Super Bowl with the lne "I HIT THAT!!!" -

Based on her decisions and actions, I don't think she will need to recuse herself, I think the 11th might just remove her. -

He was probably there beating the false confessions out of the suspects. -
Airlines to give cash refunds for cancelled or delayed flights
Mike Honcho replied to Ron_Artest's topic in The Geek Club
American's were not given the choice whether to accept it or not. Also, vouchers and credits are not the same as cash, I have to use the voucher at that airline-instead of being able to take my cash to another airline that might actually be able to get me to my destination on time. You are advocating for a system that gives you less freedom. -

The government also can set consumer protections, and simply saying that if you don't provide the service you sold, means you have to give the cash you received doesn't seem to be a huge burden on the operator. -

Sure---let them do whatever they want---that program where Boeing lobbied and won the right to do self inspections has worked out great! Clearly, companies always work in the public interest. Whistleblowers and regulators say Boeing’s self-inspection program helped lead to safety problems, including a recent catastrophic door plug malfunction. -
Arizona indicts "fake elector" Clownzo boyos
Mike Honcho replied to Pimpadeaux's topic in The Geek Club
Yeah, but the "Dem plan" if you call for that was to ask duly elected electors to vote faithlessly. IIRC, electors not voting for the candidate they are pledged isn't even mandated in all states. Pretty sure most have made it some type of crime, but it varies. Asking electors to not vote for their pledged candidate isn't a crime though. Submitting fake electors to Congress is fraud, plain and simple. They were not the certified electors. Big difference in the two instances.
