Christmas food ideas

Recommended Posts

Looking for something different for the holidays. Give me your best food items that can be shipped to my door.

I'll give you...Flat Bread from the St. Paul Flat Bread Co. http://www.saintpaulflatbread.com/

This shiot is awsome. Very versatile. Soft and chewy, can be eaten with almost anything, meat, scrambled eggs, even peanut butter.

Give me some local favorites or ethnic foods. TYIA

I was thinking of that. But I'm afraid I'd try and find out how much of it I could eat in one seating.

The meat is so rich that it's pretty hard to eat more than two pounds in a sitting. Plus you gotta have some good sides to fill in around the edges

Now my mouth is watering :(

how can this board not possibly list Chinese food as the ultimate Christmas food? Especially duck with the head still attached.

They stuff them with cream cheese, apple, lemon, strawberry, and praline. And one baby. I sent one to Tiki last year after a lost bet, for Christmas. He and his family loved it.

Damn,I may have to take one of them back to Baton Rouge next Monday,is that place anywhere close to Canal Street?

I give these to customers and buy them for our stuff. Once I buy one for a customer he expects it every Christmas/Thanksgiving. They are awesome.

Do you put it all in a Cuisinart and funnel it up their asses?

I clicked on the delivery link. Needless to say, they don't deliver them like I hoped. :(

Is that like crudite?

Real boudin is basically, sausage (or shrimp, crawfish, alligator, deer), rice, and spices filled in pig intestine. It looks like a sausage. A lot of places don't use the pig intestine casing anymore.
