Pearmiser 3 Posted September 23, 2018 Does this guy run backwards or something? How does he get so few FF points weekly as a feature back in Houston. To add insult to injury: he gets pulled in the red zone for a backup RB. I didnt expect RB1 numbers for him but come on. Am i missing something?
kilroy69 986 Posted September 23, 2018 I just don't think he is good. If his backup. Foreman comes back looking good it will devolve into a rbbc.
GameDay Guru 1 Posted September 24, 2018 Houstons OLine is currently rated dead last in the NFL and it shows. Miller is a decent talent but not many could overcome this group up front.
John Fox 5 Posted September 24, 2018 starting to wonder if it's time to trade him before Foreman comes back.
jimaveli 119 Posted September 24, 2018 It is time to move him if you can. He can only be good when the team is going well. Miller will not be the reason Houston is good.
weepaws 2,418 Posted September 25, 2018 I’m not so sure what people expect from him. Right now in a non ppr league he’s about even in points from last season. He’s nothing more then a low rb2.
Super Cubs 131 Posted September 25, 2018 O'Brien sucks as a coach/OC and it shows in his play calling. He continues to run Miller up the middle even though he has been more successful running to the outside. As far as Miller goes he's a average rb at best. Maybe a little lower behind this o-line. You can stick a fork in Foreman because he's done. Blue is a decent back up and at times the best rb on this team.
bobjay00 22 Posted September 25, 2018 He is a RB3 on my team and what he gives is satisfactory. I have him at RB2 right now cause Mixon is out but will probably put him at flex moving Carson up. So you see how he fits. If Carson does well the next couple weeks then my RB corp will look like this...Gurley, Mixon, Carson/Miller depending on matchups. weepaws 2,418 Posted September 25, 2018 I think as the seasons wears thin, Penny will get more playing time. If you can I would really shop Carson. His stock won’t be this high again.

If the Hawks are near .500 or better they will likely play the better back. That is Carson by a mile right now. If the season goes in the tank, which is certainly very possible, they may give Penny more time if he looks capable. I doubt Carsons value is that high at the moment after a single good game so Id hang onto him unless you get a great offer.
bobjay00 22 Posted September 25, 2018 Yeah, I agree. I put some offers out there looking for a WR or TE for Carson
weepaws 2,418 Posted September 25, 2018 I don’t think his value is real high either. But in every league there is that team that really needs a rb. And after that one game I think his value to that owner could be higher then we think. It’s worth a shot. Agree that Carson is the better player, now, but Penny will get his work load as the season goes on.
Fearsome 22 Posted September 25, 2018 I'm lucky to not have play him. He's my RB4 right now. But what I don't get, is almost all of the podcasts and banter on the web I am seeing, blast Miller and his effectiveness and forecast a Foreman takeover, yet in all ROS rankings I am seeing he is RB15-20 which is mid-level RB2 territory. By those metrics, you struck gold if he's on your bench as a backup. How can you get rid of a top 25 back unless your deep at that position?
