LOD01 181 Posted March 9, 2018 Carolina is so bad. They stick with a no accuracy, garbage QB like sCam Newton. Then they panic after the loss of Ted Ginn and trade for the Torrey Smith bum. Philly was going to cut him. No idea if the CB they got is any good but they offloaded Smith and his over paid ass and got something for it. He'll run fast and drop the 1 in 10 balls that is within his reach.
giraldi02 470 Posted March 10, 2018 Yeah I'm not sure what the Panthers were thinking taking on that contract. As for Worley, he's a long corner, which seems to be the recipe right now for the Eagles secondary. I don't know if he makes the 53 man roster without an unexpected trade or a release, but he will provide some good depth

They can cut him whenever they want and he's not that expensive. Granted, he stinks, but from a financial stand point, it shouldn't be an issue.

Ginn was great with the Saints, caught almost everything, sped right past DBs. That should be a lesson about Newton.
TimmySmith 2,782 Posted March 15, 2018 If you need Smith to be a 1, you're screwed. If you have a 1 and need a 2, he's ok. If you have a QB that can buy time while he gets behind the D, even better. Plus, great locker room guy with 2 rings. Coaches love to have him around. GMs cut him to save money.
