No, you forgot the "blow up in your face part".

Quite important.

you need to assess your risk/reward.  are looking for the consistent 10 pt performance, or the potential home run?  you have to weigh your options and choose.  there is always probability involved, and at the end of the day any of it could blow up.  you could be starting alfred morris on a monday night where breida is not supposed to play much and alf on is in for 1 play.  you can take a risk on albert wilson vs a very good chi defense and he can get you 30+ pts.

there is a standard deviation, and there will always be outliers.

each owner has to weight their risk/reward.

Of course...but sometimes matchups dictate that one considers starting what they believe to be an inferior player over a generally better one, who has a tougher matchup......then watch it blow up in your face, of course.

.... like i said.

don't we try to start the players we believe will score the most points?  each owner has to weight their risk/reward.

married 23 yrs.  there used to be a time where i could tell her everything.  she is still one of my closest friends, but i cannot have that kind of transparency any longer.  not even a male vs female thing. more about feelings, reactions, and how she processes information.
