Ezekiel Elliott linked to domestic abuse?

Recommended Posts

The witness said they didn't see any abuse

Have you seen the pictures of the bruises? Zeke's story that they happened in a bar fight with another woman doesn't add up. Those bruises around the wrists could only be done by someone with extreme strength.

Bruises around the wrist are no guarantee he abused her. (assuming of course he was the cause of this)

one of my exes tried hitting me, so I held her wrists and they bruised rather badly. and I assure you, I did not abuse her. (it was actually the other way around which was why I had to hold her wrists)

if she had bruises around her neck I'd be far more concerned.

If he's such a great RB, why didn't he just juke her & run...

Seriously, I hope the truth comes out if he is indeed innocent.

I really wouldn't know what domestic abuse bruises look like compared to fake bruises or bar fight bruises. What I read stated he allegedly abused her in a car, but the witness in the car said they never saw him hit her. If he did create those marks then he's a POS and deserves a healthy dose of suspension.

So you can look at bruises in a pic posted online and know what happened? Why don't you tell us the entire story then?

Agreed, hopefully people leave this alone and owners of zeke don't come in here trying to defend him until this plays out.

Who ever is at fault here I think deserves to be in jail. If Elliott did abuse her then he should serve some time. If she is lying then she needs to serve some time. Too many women lie about accusations like this and all it does it make it worse for the women who are really being abused. The women who lie are just as bad.

Hopefully the truth comes out and she doesn't just get paid off.

I agree that if Zeke is guilty that he won't serve jail time .

And that's wrong .

And that's the reason and the thinking behind why it continues to be a problem .

Well let's not jump to conclusions here, but it could've been an extortion attempt or something similar. She says they USED to live together which I believe may legally qualify as domestic violence but seems like she's potentially stretching for that. Also witnesses back up Elliott. However I do hope they fully investigate her allegations

Well that story has a lot more to it. Like I said I hope it is fully investigated in case she is a victim

Yes but you have to be careful not to blame the victim. It discourages women who are the target of domestic violence, rape etc. coming forward if they think no one will believe them, call them liars and so forth. So it's best not to jump to conclusions either way

I'm not jumping to any conclusions. That's why I stated a case for each side. Regardless of who is in the wrong there needs to be punishment to keep it from happening.

What you said is the opposite of "innocent until proven guilty". Under constitutional law, until proven otherwise, he did nothing wrong, as it should be. If you have ever been accused of anything, you know in real life, it's more "guilty until proven innocent", which is a crock of &^*&. I will defend the guy until it is absolutely proven he did something wrong. When someone gets paid, people come out of the woodwork to try and collect on their good fortune. It happened to the LT in Dallas too.

Now, if he did hit a female, then throw away the key and don't let him play a down in the NFL. From what I've read, it doesn't sound like this is much of a case, outside of a jilted former lover. It is women like this that screw it up for those that have suffered real abuse. If it turns out she is a liar, SHE needs to be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
