Spencer Ware

Recommended Posts

I have Ware in a dynasty and I don't own Hunt. If you have room and he isn't taking up a needed spot then you should have him as the cuff

Kinda what I was thinking, I'm gonna have to cut either Deion Lewis or Michel-now I have to decide that! Thanks, have a good one.

Why would you cut Michel for a backup? He is a viable starter right now.

Michel is a borderline RB1, RB2 for sure. He’s not in any sort of discussion to be cut even in an 8 team league.

You don't have to have him. And I sure wouldn't cut either Michel or Lewis to get him.

Do you think every starting RB on your team should be handcuffed?

I think it's a good practice to handcuff your top back if you can afford the space, and the backup is worthy when he starts. Ware is one of those guys.

Ask the Bell and Fournette owners if they think rostering the handcuff is a good idea. Its insurance of fantasy football. You really don't want it but you're really glad you have it when you need it.

Just curious......I’m bored.....

Do you think everyone who owns Gurley should also have the back up handcuffed? (Don’t know name)

In addition....while we are playing.....I’m curious to see how you respond to these......

Do,you think everyone who owns Barkley should also own his backup?

Do you think everyone who owns Conner should have the back up handcuffed?

Or do you only believe ONLY the KC runner should be handcuffed?

I believe everyone who drafted Bell wishes they drafted Conner. If the backup looks to walk in and be the guy, he's worth a spot in all 12+ man leagues.

so lemme drop a lil storyline about my 12 team ppr high stakes league which is the only league im in i care about

bell was taken #2 overall...i picked #1 and took gurley obviously......fournette went 6th.......

amazingly in the 14th conner was still there...i had the next to last pick in the round....and the guy who took bell had the last pick....the guy that took fournette apparently had no interest in cuffing him or was waiting for one of the last 3 rounds to do it(17 round draft).....i was kind of the belief that bell would end up showing up....so i went with yeldon with the next to last pick in the 14th...this prompted the guy who had bell to grab conner with the next pick( i beat this guy this week..double W/L league...i got two W's he got just a points win).........the guy who took fournette is 3-7 and in big trouble......meanwhile i started gurley, mixon and yeldon(flex)...cha ching!!

If you have Hunt, do you HAVE to have Ware just in case?

If you have the bench space, yes I would do so.

Hey husker, you were the one who opened the thread by asking the question....do I need to handcuff Hunt with Ware? Remember?

I answered your question with a question to make a point...

The answer to your question is subjective, no right or wrong answer. If you have the space and are worried for whatever reason that Hunt might go down, then it won’t hurt to do that.

But obviously many owners don’t handcuff their number one runner no matter what team he is on....one with a high powered offense or one that is not. I mentioned Gurley...I would bet most Gurley owners don’t have him handcuffed, yet he is on a high powered offense and he really is the man on that team, unlike Hunt.

So, because there is no one right answer, you can go either way.

Yes....for protection

No....to better use the slot for other needs, especially with bye weeks and all

I hope this helps. Sorry my answer upset you. It’s all good.

Should I drop Gurley and Gordon for Jetemy Hill and Mike Boone? I need to know now.

I've never heard of Jetemy Hill, but I'd jump on it, it would really improve the team you have...…………………….

That's what I ended up doing, thanks. Now if I could pick the right QB between Rivers and Goff I'd be set!

For every Bell and Fournette owner I give you a Dalvin Cook owner with Latavius Murray.

I will add I think Spencer Ware is a more talented back than Murray.

Yes Ware was their starter, got hurt, and that's how Hunt got his start. He was better than okay, I hope I don't have to find out how good he is now! Good luck this week.

I agree. Ive always been a Ware fan. I just think all handcuffs are a case-by-case scenario.

Are you flexing Lewis? Do you think he will get you consistent points? Is Ware 100%? I prefer to have the backup who will get all the carries vs the timeshare. But if you flex Lewis ....

You might try a trade of Lewis and a wr for a wr upgrade first?

Trades in our league are very few and far between, I thought of that (maybe trading him to the guy who has Henry) but our league is a bunch of old guys who think they're getting ripped off so they don't trade. I live off of the waiver wire and dropped Lewis for Ware, gotta have a piece of that KC offense if I can get it!
