It would depend on a teams scenario. If they are deep at WR and Marshall could yield an LT or Westbrook, its probably worth it in redrafts. As a Marshall owner, I wouldnt trade him for anyone. I actually think he is going to be more lethal as the season progresses.

The best dont need nicknames. The best nicknames are the ones that opponents give. I must say, he is my fave of the new wave of big time WRs. Nothing touches his chest. He just plucks em. I love that. He was called baby TO and there is nothing to indicate otherwise IMO. I will be making it a point to own him annually, particularly in PPRs.

I would think the only time the cancel out theory would work would be a big time TE or a WR AGAINST a QB. I benched Romo last week in my big league due in a large part to TO being a huge facet of his points. TO with 2 tds and 100 yds in standard scoring would be 22 pts. Romo's stats for those numbers are 13 pts. So the TO owner is plus 9 on Romo which would be a real setback to the highest scoring guy on your team. Lucky for me, I had the foresight to have Warner as my backup and Boldin as my WR2. Im starting Bryant Johnson this week as my WR3 in hopes my opponent goes iwth JTO vs Detroit. If my 3rd WR can cancel out the top scorer on a team, its a tradeoff I can every day.

My draft has been deemed subpar by the experts here in the staff league. My sig contains my roster. I think Josh Reed could become a bigtime sleeper this year. Watching him play makes me think Hines Ward without a lot of targets. Edwards seems to like going to him thus far from what Ive seen.

Did you watch Dolphin games with a helmet on like Ricky's interviews? Ronnie Brown was dominating the league before his injury and was the equal of what LJ was doing a couple years ago despite what you accurately labeled a poor line. I wouldnt be so quick to diminish Ronnies talent. Ronnie is more powerful than Ricky and with more speed. Is he the better runner? I dont think so. Is he infinitely inferior to Ricky? No way. I do agree with you that an ACL injury is one you dont rush a guy back from. Any team with a back the caliber of Ricky is in good shape to do such. Jake Long is NOT Joe Thomas. Run blocking is certainly his strength but lets see what he does vs the pass rushers this year before annointing him a Pro Bowler. I just drafted 4th in my big money league. I have not had a pick over 7 in 7 years so I planned on drafting from that spot. I went with Sjax for the following reasons: 1- Talent- He is simply the better player. If their teams were different, would you take Addai? No way. 2- Opportunity- He is the man. Rhodes and Keith will ease an obviously worn down Addai 3- Offense- The Rams run through Jackson, the Colts run through Manning. 4- Cards,Seahawks,Niners to wrap up the season. I like those matchups. It all depends on a persons mentality. 4th and 1. Grind out the first down or playaction pass for the TD?

Patriots piss poor secondary equals more teams able to stay with them which equals NE passing. God forbid if they had to play catchup I see the preseason happenings as a reason to bump UP the Pats passing pieces.

As someone who hates the Niners and Martz, you cannot discredit Martz' resume. Who was Bulger and Warner before they became Warner and Bulger? The lines of the Rams later on and Detroit were not much better than the current SF one and numbers were still put up. As for JTO, Kitna is superior to him so he started. Smith and Shaun Hill arent superior to JTO so he will get the nod. Of course with the heavy passing yds will come heavy TOs so buyer beware.
