Funniest movie of all time

Recommended Posts

But, pretty much everything here (except Raising Arizona) is quality.

You're dead to me.

Caddyshack is the greatest movie of all time.

Extremely quotable, amazing re-watchability, and it caught Rodney Dangerfield, Chevy Chase, Bill Murray and Ted Knight at their very best. Also, written/directed by Harold Ramis.

That's like comparing what kind of is the best. Jim Carey is one of the most overrated actors of all time, I honestly have not liked a single one of his movies, horrible over actor.

Can't stand it. It's an immediate change the channel if it's on, the only part I found funny was when Jeff Daniels blasted her with the snowball, other than that, I've got nothing.

One of the most overrated movies ever.

I am not a huge carey fan but I absolutly do not believe you can get through that movie without laughing. It has such great supporting roles that it is sseriously funny.

The only good movie that Jim Carrey has IMO was "Man on the Moon"... He was great as Andy Kaufman...

Kills me.

So many good parts to SAM I couldn't stop laughing from the Frank n Beans scene on. The part I think I laughed the most at was when he was arrested at the Ghey rest area. Not the funniest part but I think there was a good scene right in front of it and laughter just kicked up a gear with that. Surprised you an I are the only ones that really listed it ...

I don't remember a single lol moment out of that movie. It was engaging but not hilarious

I would totally liken that movie to the breakfast club. Shows the generational angst l, ennui, but not lol.

So many great movies mentioned, I'll add a few for discussion:

Mostly I would have expected more Eddie Murphy. I think penny mentioned Trading Places, but I think his prime was 48 Hours and Beverly Hills cop.

Meatballs.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Fletch might have been mentioned; one of my all time favorites.

In the end I'd go with Caddyshack.

What about The Truman Show as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind?

Those are both really good IMO.
