gottabesweet84 0 Posted June 13, 2006 Hey we are converting from a keeper to dynasty league Im allowed to keep 3 obviously LT, McGahee and Caddy Williams I also have Benson though what do you think I can get for him try for a 2007 1st round rookie pick? or something in this draft or what. I hate just having to throw him back for someone to draft.
bdill77 0 Posted June 13, 2006 Benson's value will depend on what happend with Thomas Jones. I don't know if someone will give up a 1st if they are still splitting time. Also, if you cut Benson then you have to look at it like there is one more quality player to draft. If you traded him, than that owner would obviously put a player that is not as good back into the the draft.

I hate just having to throw him back for someone to draft. You'll have too many people try to get something for nothing. I was trying to do the same thing with Chris Brown, but everyone wanted to steal him. I know Brown doesn't look as promising as Benson to some people, but no one wanted to budge. Even after the rumor of his trade. So I'd say with Benson if you don't dump him and try to get him later then you trade an take anything you can get that will reasonably help your team. Don't be too demanding because everyone knows you are doing this as an alternative to drop him.
SteelerFan80 0 Posted June 15, 2006 You're not likely to get any one to bite for a first rounder. Might get lucky and get a third or fourth rounder. If I were you, I would simply release him and hope to grab him in the draft. You're not going to get much value in a trade. Please see mine! Thanks!
