Giants Fan 85 Posted October 30, 2014 Side story, the South Park, about gluten was focking hilarious. But yeah, I am making some fish sticks. May be breakfast time for you, late night snack before bed for me. These are labeled "smart" fishsticks. Gortons "smart and crunchy" breaded fish sticks. I'm fresh out of horseradish, so I'll prolly mix a little mayo, ketchup and tobasco for the sauce. This might be the only time in my entire life I ever wished I had a little packet of relish. IGotWorms 3,313 Posted October 30, 2014 I do like fish sticks. At least the ones from Costco are pretty yummy. Quick, cheap and easy
Cruzer 1,992 Posted October 30, 2014 Love fish sticks! They are part of the food group that I would never serve to guests, but secretly love eating by myself. (bologna sandwiches, corn dogs, hot links, Red Barron oven pizza, etc.)
Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted October 30, 2014 Somehow i cant make them taste like the ones grandma used to make. Same brand, same temp, same cook time. I dont get it.
NorthernVike 2,080 Posted October 30, 2014 No. I'm lucky to live in a place where I can catch fresh fish and cook it myself.

IGotWorms 3,313 Posted October 30, 2014 Plain, Tartar sauce or ketchup? Tartar sauce is best but ketchup is so easy I often just go with that

tanatastic 2,061 Posted October 30, 2014 They are delicious and anyone saying otherwise is lying. Yes they are for little kids and they are garbage but damn they are delicious. Crunchy and perfectly vaguely fishy with ketchup or whatever you want to dip them in. Im gonna have to try the ones from costco. Its fashionable and common to say you dont like them tho, but everyone does.
Sho Nuff 719 Posted October 30, 2014 I prefer real fish...not minced up fish bits and parts. Nothing delicious about them.
wiffleball 4,640 Posted October 30, 2014 I have never like fish sticks. Not when I was young I'm certainly not now.I do, however enjoy a will breaded whitefish and the correct answer sure as hell isn't ketchup, it is malt vinegar always.

Not a super expensive fish but not exactly garvage either

Sho Nuff 719 Posted October 31, 2014 You dont like mcdonalds nuggets specifically? Or any chicken nugget? I don't mind nuggets like Chick Fil A...where its actual chicken meat and not a ground up version stuffed into crappy breading. I don't mind making my own at home. I equate a McNugget to a Fish stick. Cheap, processed crap.
