giraldi02 470 Posted March 23, 2017 Came across this data set on Sharp Football. https://www.sharpfootballstats.com/personnel-grouping-frequency.html Lists out the personnel packages that each team used throughout the year with percentage based stats. This is some great information to have and to utilize when drafting. One thing I found fascinating from it: The Oakland Raiders used 5 WR sets on 95 total plays last year. Every other team in the NFL combined was at 80. Derek Carr looking like he's gonna be a great buy this year.
Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted March 23, 2017 I would like Carr better if his division didn't have some very good pass defenses. Every team he has to face, 6 opponents, has some serious ability to shut down the pass. If he faces a few more good pass defenses, it really makes him tougher to start. I think he is still going to be solid and his injury last year probably depresses his price to a reasonable level. I just don't expect huge stats. Edit: not 6 opponents, 6 games against 3 opponents
