If mixon is out I don't even know who cinci has left. In the Pitt game I think Gio got every carry after mixon left. He is a borderline top ten play this week imo

I am going after Bernard myself. Reports of Doug Martin back at practice I read a bit ago. Hopefully they just bench Martin this week so that Tampa Bay's backfield is cleared for fantasy purposes.

Tough call. Barber may be just as good, but since you have Mixon I'd rather have Bernard than Barber in case Mixon suffers a setback and Martin is slotted back in as Tampa's RB1. I'd rather have Barber than Lee though, too. I might drop Barber for Bernard only because Lee has good matchups week 15 & 16.

With Martin looking more likely to play thats the right call. Despite the great matchup this week I still wouldnt trust Martin or Barber. You never know who will get the carries. Id rather take my chances someone plays one of them against me this week than Bernard if Mixon sits.

Ugh this is such a tough decision. I dont know if I have the stones to bench the 5th best RB in FF, but I really hate that hes playing on Thurs and hasnt practiced all week. I know the safe play is bench him, but he absolutely might blow up and Ill want to kill someone.

Ive rode him and Kamara as my RB 1 and 2 from week 3 on. No one wants to start both of them more than me, gotta see what they say tomorrow and watch him pre game. May be just resting him all week since its Thursday game. The toe injury didnt hurt him last week

Yea it's possible they're just resting him. But the downgrade from limited on Monday to DNP Tue and Wed is worrisome. Still thinking of benching him until I hear some promising news.

Just check in at gametime. If he is a go, then roll him out. If not, stick Bernard in there, I think you are in good shape either way.

 

If you are worried about him getting yanked because of a re-aggrevation, just roll Bernard. He has a great floor and high ceiling this week. He is all they have!

But volume is on Gio said.

 

He can even be good in the passing game.

 

I think Lewis is a good play also.

 

But just simply based on volume I would go with Gio.

Volume is definitely the key as there is little behind Gio while Lewis will split carries with 2 other backs. Chicago is ok at run defense but is somewhat mitigated by their crappy offense keeping the game script run friendly

I think Gio is a sneaky top 10 play this week. I am going to start him over Jamaal Williams. Also going to flex him over Evan Engram in the other league. What is going to help him a lot is that he is a great pass catcher so if the o line doesn't make the holes to run through I could see them doing some effective screen passes or routes out of the backfield to help him succeed.

Except their top 2 LBs werent playing.

 

Everyone thinks Gio is going to get 25+ carries. He has almost never gotten that kind of work. I think a more realistic stat line is like 15/60 and 4/30 with maybe a TD.
