Usually the championship team does have a stud player who goes off on the final weekend though. jimaveli 119 Posted December 24, 2017 I groaned when the guy just before me in the 2nd round took Gurley. But that is because I wanted Gurley! It was going to be wonderful. Id have Gordon and Gurley and touchdowns would have been had. Yards per carry lovers would have been saddened. But it wasnt to be. I ended up with AJ Green instead. Sad face. In my longtime league, a guy took Gurley at 8 and then Hunt on the way back. He also got Hopkins. That would have been an automatic championship but he had little else so he missed the playoffs.
