Honest question. Who from the 49ers defense is returning?

Bowman, Aldon Smith are all I got.

Bethea, Reid, Ahmad Brooks and Aaron Lynch (promising 2nd-year OLB). As for the DL, Ian Williams will return after missing the last half of the season, but it's time for the "redshirt" pick Carradine to step up, and I'm not expecting much out of the rookie Armstead this year. It's going to be interesting but hopefully the depth they've had the last few years can step up.

Forgot about Tank Carradine. Wasn't he labeled as a potential sleeper in the draft?

Hopefully he wasnt labeled as a potential early retiree for the niners sake.

If harbaugh woulda stayed Willis and smith wouldn't have retired. Niners are about to go in the crapper for the next 3-5 years

The perfect example of the kind of player I root for, even on a team I hate. Dude never changed a bit from the draft till now. I know he won't make it, but would love to see his name tossed around in 5 years.
