Marshall 98 Posted February 6, 2015 I seem to vaguely recall hearing/seeing his name before, but it sure didn't stick. Do any of you have any further information on this guy? His current stats seem improbable and amazing, but I don't know how much of that is a product of playing in the AFL (being unfamiliar with that system and/or level of competition). The reason I ask: Jacksonville Sharks @jaxsharks BREAKING: Congrats to quarterback R.J. Archer, who has signed with the Seattle @Seahawks! | http://bit.ly/020415Archer ...In 2014, Archer finished third among all AFL passers with 4,661 yards, completing 367 of his 634 attempts for a total of 92 touchdowns against 14 interceptions.Throughout the 2014 season, Archer tossed six or more touchdowns on 10 separate occasions, a total that includes a pair of eight-touchdown games. He capped the campaign with a 318-yard, six-touchdown, no-interception performance in the season finale... http://jaxsharks.com/news/?article_id=

BuschWack 56 Posted February 7, 2015 K. Warner played for an AFL team.. The Rams I believe.. That worked out okay.
Joey Gladstone 33 Posted February 9, 2015 K. Warner played for an AFL team.. The Rams I believe.. That worked out okay. That's a one in a million story. I still love how Seattle never leaves any stone unturned. Mathews and Browner came from the CFL.
stonewall 647 Posted February 9, 2015 Even if Wilson got hurt, they still have no WR's in Seattle. Warner came in with Bruce and Holt, among others.
TheUsualSuspect 207 Posted February 9, 2015 Warner came in with Bruce and Holt, among others.Make no mistake that Bruce/Holt's legacy would never have been what it is without Warner. No way either player are in the HOF talk today if Trent Green was their guy.
Joey Gladstone 33 Posted February 9, 2015 I don't know, Green put up pretty sick numbers when Warner got hurt.
WhoDat 1 Posted February 12, 2015 Not convinced Archer is NFL material. Seattle will give him a looksie in OTA's and TC. But at the end of the day, I think he gets cut..
