Have you ever not posted advice bc you're afraid someone in your league will read it? Just curious if I'm the only one? No idea if anyone in my league is on here, and frankly my advice this year would s&ck, so maybe I should post it..

I used to because I had at least one guy in my work league who was a lurker here, but I don't play in that league anymore. It took me a while to catch, but then it was fun after I realized it. I won 3 of 4 championships after I got into the league and should won the other one as well, so I was killing it. It's been over 8 yrs ago, but I made a post about a player (don't remember who) who was on IR but was due back and how the circumstances dictated he needed to be picked up. It was a Wednesday, and he had cleared waivers already and was available. I was going to get him later that night but he was gone before I got home. The next week, something similar happened before the Thursday night game if I recall. At that point I suspected it so the next week I made another prediction on Tuesday, after waivers, and completely out of my ass. Sure as sh!t that player was on the same owners roster by end of day. I was very guarded after that until I left the league and sometimes purposely threw out some craptastic advice, just to see if it got followed.

No and no one else does this either. The reason being everyone wants credit for being right. People claiminf otherwise are full of crap. Very few people here have other people in their leagues that also read this forum unless it’s a league within the forum.

That is why you get fooled by other people who want to win more than they care about your opinion of them.
