Mr Neil 63 Posted December 17, 2017 Its almost blasphemy to say to bench him as hes done awesome for me all year. But Im in a hole now as my opponent had Hunt and C.J. Anderson go off for him vs my bum ass Keenan Allen. So I kinda need to go out on a limb. Nuk has a awful matchup with Jalen Ramsey whos licking his chops to shut down one of the premier WRs in the game. Might bench him for Chris Ivory. Sounds insane but Im leaning towards it
rrmcguire 36 Posted December 17, 2017 I have to debate between him and Goodwin
Mr Neil 63 Posted December 17, 2017 At least Im not the only crazy one. Its playoffs and I wanna get to super bowl so gotta do some drastic stuff when in a hole. If Keenan Allen would have given me at least 12 points or something I wouldnt be considering it. I have to debate between him and Goodwin
rrmcguire 36 Posted December 17, 2017 Only good thing is my opponent had Howard but if Hopkins is active and looks good iin warmups if i m going down I would rather go down with Nuk
TBayXXXVII 2,106 Posted December 17, 2017 Who is Nuk?
rrmcguire 36 Posted December 17, 2017 Deandre Hopkins
graphix28 10 Posted December 17, 2017 Hopkins Corey davis or Blount for me. Probably sticking with Hopkins hoping for a TD
murf74 461 Posted December 17, 2017 7 catches 55 yards and TD week 1 vs Jags
brotherbock 349 Posted December 17, 2017 No way in he!!. I have been burned recently by being cute. I'm starting my best players this week, regardless of matchup. My three Chefs (Smith/Hunt/Kelce) did right by me, Marvin outplayed my opp's Taint. Starting Nuk and taking whatever he gives me. He's been marvelous this year. weepaws 2,452 Posted December 17, 2017 Plus his toe injury makes him a scary one too depend on. Toe injury can pop up and limit him.
murf74 461 Posted December 17, 2017 Seems people are trying to talk themselves out of playing, what the 2nd best fantasy wr in nfl? I would rather lose starting him than benching him for flavor of week. Cant imagine an off-season thinking I benched Hopkins and lost. You bench fringe starters due to matchups not studs. Fantasy 101 that works probably 90% of time. Ill take those odds
DamageIncVacc 6 Posted December 17, 2017 I agree, you bench Hopkins and you lose cause he went off it will be awful all offseason. BUT you lose cause you played the #2 WR in football you will feel like you gave it your all.

I think a lot of the enjoyment--or lack of frustration--that people get from FF comes from the ability to manage regret What moves will make it most likely that I win while also helping me deal with an offseason with the least regrets if I lose. brotherbock 349 Posted December 17, 2017 I wish I had. This is gonna hurt! I'm also playing the Jags D, so it's somewhat mitigated. But a nice long TD to Nuk would be better.
vino 21 Posted December 17, 2017 as I'm reading this thread, TD. lol Hopefully you guys stuck with him.

See I would've lost if I played Wilson over Rodgers. And I did think to myself, it would be easier to lose with Wilson in than lose and see him on my bench scoring his usual 30 points. But I went Rodgers over Wilson anyway. Sometimes, you gotta risk it all even if the consequence will be with you for months, or years, or to your grave

TennisMenace 156 Posted December 19, 2017 Jalen Ramsey is very good, but is he already in the Patrick Peterson, Xavier Rhodes stratosphere?
