Principal makes kid take USA jersey off at "patriotic night" at h.s. football game.

Recommended Posts

I went to the schools website, and reported the principal for "bullying" on the bullying link

http://insider.foxnews.com/2018/10/13/student-forced-remove-trump-jersey-patriotic-high-school-football-game

I just asked "How much more patriotic can a kid from the U.S be, wearing a USA jersey with the name of the U.S. President on it.?"

I then called him an anti-US piece of sh!t and told him he should pack his ###### and move to France.

I bet if it said "Washington" or "Lincoln" on it, they would have been fine with it.

I dont know. It isnt offensive per se, 20% go beserk for fvck yeah! 20% will call him racist. The other 60% just want to watch a football game. Either way, it ruins everyones night, so give the kid and his dad the ten minutes they wanted and wait for the next outrage either way.

and this is the problem, would anyone have gone Apeshit over someone wearing an Obama Jersey?? No cause we aren't raving lunatics, and if they did they would be immediately deemed racist

I loath George W. Bush completely. Just a seething rage. He triggers me like no other living politician. . If I were principal of a school and I saw a Bush jersey, do you know what Id do? Nothing. Id shrug it off.

I liked his father though. I was politically active in High School. Homecoming 1988, I was a senior. Id been a campaign volunteer going to Republican events all over the state in the middle of the action. I never got paid but the hotel and food was provided by whoever I was working for. Macomb County, MI was ground zero for the Reagan Democrats. (Still is).

Anyway, at Homecoming, I was all decked out in Bush campaign attire looking like a delegate and kind of making an add of myself. I must have been an insufferable smug little pr1ck since Daddy Bush was way up in the polls and would go on to thump Dukakis convincingly. Some of my liberal teachers would give me some good natured kidding but I was never made to feel uncomfortable once, let alone censored. Those teachers did right by me.

Bammm. 100% accurate. Fock. 120% accurate.

The left is completely focking delusional. This board for the most part has some of the most intelligent people that I've been in the presence of on a message board.

I would think.. like... even the left voters ... would be like "yah... ya know I agree with a lot of liberal ideas and policies... but this is where our party is just batsh!t crazy"

I thought the campus cr@privists were insufferably nutty when I was a student. Ha! Its gotten so much worse.

I have wonder about some of these 'adults' - like the Principal. Do you live in such a bubble that you can't see where this is headed? And,snoug, that's where it ended up.

We've seen even worse examples than this. I have to think these NEA nutjobs go to their low-level teaching colleges, only associate with same, go to work with same, and think this is the way the world is and they're absolutely right.

That's one of the problems I have with teachers - just like cops - Really? The only way you can get respect and authority is through your job? But in this case, it's kids? Get Bent.

"After completing its review of an event that took place at the football game at Harnett Central High School on Friday, October 5, the school district is announcing several personnel changes," the school system said in a release.

Cindy Gordon has been removed as the high school principal and replaced by Catherine Jones, who was the principal at Harnett Primary

The changes came after Mike Collins, the father of the 18-year-old student, spoke to ABC11's Tim Pulliam about the way his son was treated during a high school football game after wearing a jersey printed with Trump's name.

I Agree that they should let the kid wear the shirt. I dont agree with replacing her unless there was a pattern if idiotic decisions. People are so fast with "calling for someones job" nowadays. I also dont agree with the fact that they are pinning this replacement on the fact that the kid was embarrassed.

Sorry, but if theyve established no tolerance for one side, it needs to be applied to the other as well.

Weve gotten to a point where instances like this are so common that people on the left thinks it is acceptable.

I'm glad to see there are consequences. Too often, Educators protect each other. Or they stand behind their union rep. Or they claim tenure.

I'm going to guess as stupid as this decision was to have the kid remove his jersey, this is not the first stupid thing this woman has ever done, but rather, just the final straw.

As a principal of a school, her decisions set precedence for the teachers below her. Even if she felt pressured into doing this, a person in her position should be strong enough to stand up to crazy parents. Otherwise she is worthless as a school principal.

The complaining parents should be put to sleep.

I would warmly welcome a thirds party, one that lives in the middle somewhere, one for normal people...

Problem is that the fringetards are the vocal ones. Everyone else gets their message lost in the noise.

Wait, you guys think that Trump is far right? How's that? His big issue, immigration, is aligned with most of the country. Just because the left accuses him of being far right doesn't make it so.

I guess him being a part of the KKK, a nazi, racist, homophobic etc. makes him far right.

Just kidding
