LOFL, Are you gonna pay for all of us to sign up for the site to view the article?

They have been trying to make him the #1 RB since he got to Chi-town, but he hasn't shown he can handle it. I think he needs to prove himself as a number 1 back first. Gore and Addai, both proved they could handle the load their first year on the job and Moroney was a backup who looked good as a rookie behind Dillon.
-
Was there a point to this thread? All you did was post a link to the story.
-
Oh yeah, I'd go with Gore and Manning out of those 4. Hopefully you can get on of he top 5 WO's with your first pick or a second RB.
-
You will definitely need a replacement for him. If you do not get one by draft time DO NOT use the site's rankings, they usually suck. Take a consensus of all owners during the draft. At least that way you will have a chance of getting someone to take the team after the draft. We have had owners not show up at times for the draft and this worked much better than the site's recommendations. You just have to weigh the suggestions from the owner picking right after him, but my league is all friends and are good about rating the players honestly.
-
My league does not have position requirements, but we do limit it to no more than 5 players at any one position. This gives you enough for your starters and backups as well as a sleeper or fill-in player, but limits the "hoarding" aspect.
-
OMG that sounds horrible. My favorite part of the draft is finding those "sleepers" in the late rounds and this method takes that away. x3

I've been running my league for 13 years and have modified the format several times, but it's been pretty stable for the last 8 years. Each team keeps 2 players from the previous year. We draft 10 teams, 16 rounds, but have a limit of 5 players at a given position, so no one can hoard RB's. I usually graft 5 RB's, 5 WR's, 3 QB's, 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 D. Sometimes I will draft 2 TE and 2 QB, but I always max out at RB and WR. The only IR rule we have is that the player going on IR MUST be on the NFL IR and of "keeper" status, so 16 rounds is necessary.

Yeah, congrats Tuna for beating me two weeks in a row
-
And Good Luck to you my Week 1 opponent. I did poorly out of the gate last year and hope to start better this season. Maybe a little Grilled Tuna?, huh?
-
Very glad to hear you're OK Bill, if a little (alright a LOT) overworked. Welcome back
-
I just want to know when my turn is to draft Todd Heap!!
-
Looks like Bill made the switch. Just need Nobody to make his pick!
-
Bill I believe we NEED to turn the timer on. This draft is going to take forever otherwise.
