GB Rules

I assume you are a Nebraska fan? What are your thoughts on Brandon Jackson? Can he be a starting RB in the NFL? Better than Morency from OSU? Just looking for opinions from somebody that has seen him play. I am curious as a Packers fan and dynasty owner.

I personally like Meachum better than Gonzalez or Bowe. He should start soon and is in a very productive offense. Michael Bush is boom or bust, but worth a flyer in this weak RB draft.

I am in 12 team leagues that start 2 Qb's, so yes you can definitely still start 2 with 10 teams. Theoretically each team could have 3 starters which is plenty. It adds to the strategy in the draft as you need to make sure you protect yourself for injury and bye weeks and you had better consider picking up your starters backup if you have the roster space. It also encourages trading as teams get desperate.

I would have to disagree on the Vikings. They traded up to get Tarvaris Jackson in the 2nd round last year. I don't think they will be using their first pick on a QB. They need a WR, but Ginn is not the answer since they already have Troy Williamson and they are the same type of stretch the field WR. Jarrett would make since although I hope that the Vikes don't get him.

I think that Alexander definitely gets consideration. Yes he was hurt, but if you look at the games that he played in he definitely did not live up to expectations considering he was a top 3 pick. Yes I am bitter that I took him over LJ. I did not mind waiting for him to get healthy as I had other options to and still had the #1 seed, but I sure was hoping for more out of him than the 5 points he got me last week. I would have been better off if he stayed hurt so I would have left Deuce in my lineup.

The Packers should sign Gabriel. He would be an upgrade as their #3 and make them a little less desperate for a WR next year

I am thinking of benching Braylon due to the bad weather and new QB. My only other option is Derrick Mason. Either way I don't expect great output. Damn Hines Ward for being hurt at playoff time.

2 of them are 10 team leagues and the other 4 are 12 team leagues. I have been playing for about 6 years. My winnings were padded by the fact that one of my friends ran a league with a bunch of guys who were clueless so I could pretty much win every year. That league folded so now I have to work harder to win my money. I need to at least make enough to take my wife out for dinner as that has always been her reward for putting up with FF all year.

I am 6 for 6 on making the playoffs, but the real test starts next week. If I don't win at least a couple league titles the year is a disappointment. I have not had a year yet where my entry fees totaled more than my payouts so I am hoping this year is no different.

I have McNabb, Portis, McGahee & Colston on my dynasty team. It's a good thing I started 9-1. Losing McNabb is going to be the killer because it is a start 2 QB league. The duo of Vick & Frye does not sound too impressive.

The team that has Tiki in my keeper league has almost no shot at winning this year and needs to rebuild so I am going to try to get him in trade. I am using the argument that he better get something for him before he retires. It will be even sweeter when he decides to come back for another season. I figure I can get him for draft picks or some young guys that I have on my bench.

I just traded Leftwich & Isaac Bruce for Fitzgerald. The guy was deperate for a QB. Based on how good Leinart has looked and the fact that the Cardinals can not run the ball, I expect big things from Fitz come playoff time.

Which rookie RB would you pick #2?

What bout Addai? How does everyone rank the rookie RB's when it comes to a dynasty?

WTMJ is repoting the Packers are trading Javon, #5, and a 3rd for the #2 pick. Seems like a decent deal for both sides if it happens
