Crowell, Gurley, Hyde Owners....

Recommended Posts

Gurley still produced good ppr numbers.

His involvement in the passing game is a good sign.

Crowell doesn't have a good track record vs the Steelers.

Hyde is a forty Niner, enough said.

After one week, drop all star qbs. Trade for all rookie rbs. And lions WRs, COOPER KUPP, and Antonio Brown are the only good WRs.

Crowell is on the Browns, and people don't realize how good the Steelers defense is.

Hyde had good production for his limited touches. Why they don't ride this guy is beyond me. I think it's probably a buy low, so long as you aren't paying too much

Gurley is going to be very involved in the pass game, get all goal line touches, and he will receive the vast majority of carries. What else do we want from a rb, one who just scored nearly 20 points.

What other guaranteed backs are there that were so much better? Bell shlt the bed also.

? As a Hyde owner I'm very happy with the usage. Sucks that they didn't run him in the second half after he was dominant early, but 6 targets? That's great. Looks like he's going to be heavily involved no matter what the game script is. He also allllmost had a TD.

Gurley actually had a great first half, was involved in all 3 downs (5/56 receiving!) and scored. I'm not that concerned with a bunch of runs going nowhere when the Rams were up 30.

Not worried about Hyde. His YPC was good up against a tough, tough front 7 and he was involved in the passing game. As solid a RB2 as you can ask for. Cleveland looks improved. Kizer seems serviceable. Crowell should be fine. Rams offense seems pretty solid. Defense is stout. I wouldn't worry about Gurley either. Why aren't you complaining about Bell?

In addition to Leveon Bell,

probably should add, Julio Jones, Odell Beckam, Baldwin, Adams,Tom Brady, Devonte Freeman, Bradin Cooks, NE Def, Gronk, Kelce, Murray, Russell Wilson, Jordan Reed, AJ Green, Mccaffrey, and others if you want to highlight those that we were screwed by the experts.

I only drafted players who are going to score 20+ points every single week. That's why I'm winning. People were like "draft Julio" and I was like "nah, he's going to have at least one week under 20 points. Dealbreaker."

Lol now that's the way to draft a winner.

Huh? Hyde had a good game, you thinking of someone else? I'll take 13 ppr points from an rb on a team that got annihilated.

I would sell Gurley as fast as possible. Indy has one of the worst run defenses and Gurley barely avg 2 ypc. He doesn't have that built in excuse of 8 in the box either as Goff was tossing it all over the yard

He's going to be a solid low end rb1 on volume alone but I just don't see the talen

Seems to me the folks who drafted him were hoping for exactly that :dunno:

You could be right in the end, but this is a pretty ridiculous thread to start after one week

Didn't need 1 week.

What separated Crowell's 8 points (PPR) from Jordan Howard or Devanta Freeman? A TD. TD's are fluky to some degree. Kizer snuck one in, that could just as easily have gone to Crowell.

In addition, he performed as well as DeMarco Murray, another player drafted above him who had a much better matchup on paper. And far better than Joe Mixon who was being drafted in his area.

As a Crowell owner, this was about the game I expected. The positive was that Cleveland stayed committed to the run and he got 19 touches and they didn't get blown out against a good team. If that continues, I think he'll be fine for where he was drafted as an RB2.

I'll admit, Gurley's rushing numbers are a bit concerning. However, at the end of the day 20 FF pts is 20 FF pts. He was productive. He'll get the volume so long as he stays healthy. That's good enough for me. It helps that Khunt is my RB2. :D

Hyde seems like he should be given more work. Seemed decent enough to me but the scoring opportunities will certainly be limited.

Gurley played the COLTS. One of the worst fantasy running back defenses in the NFL for going on 8 consecutive seasons, and if you watched the game, he STILL looked like the Gurley of last season. There is no reason he shouldn't have hit 100+ yards rushing and 50+ yards receiving. I loved Gurley in college and his rookie season. Since then, he just doesn't look like an NFL caliber running back. He had open holes he flat out missed, so the offensive line shouldn't get blamed for it all. It's almost like he just wants to wait his time out and go play with a real team. I don't expect much more than what you saw in 2016. Some improvement which will come in the passing game, but the people I saw taking him in late round one are going to be highly upset. He isn't, and wasn't, worth more than an early third rounder. Too many people read articles and don't watch the game, the blocking and the play calls. He had his shot. If I had drafted him, I'd be looking to dump him to some rookie who thinks he had a good week. After their first month, their schedule is quite brutal. He'll not be a top ten fantasy RB, but was drafted as one in every league I drafted in. I think people write totally fake articles hyping players up to screw certain weak minded folks. lol

my point I am getting at is if you can sell him for a better RB1, I would do it now, hell I would swap Gurley to the David Johnson owner even if DJ missed 6 weeks. Can probably find a package for Leveon some how as well

Kent, take a chill pill. Leveon Bell had a bad game. Should I panic?

I'd cut Bell.

I'd cut Bell.

I would cut him and then punch every member of my league in the face in front of his/her wife and/or husband in front of his/her kids

Not a surprise that this thread is coming from a guy who said Kareem Hunt will get shutdown on Thursday

You have Hyde and Gurley don't you.

My draft went

Evans

Thomas

Gurley

Crowell

1-0 and feeling good

Your only win of the year with those RBs.

Possibly, but is it true that you thought hunt would get shut down? Wouldn't expect a prediction like that with your skills in fantasy player evaluating.
