Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted March 16, 2018 This is bull . Pizza back home is cut like a sane person would, in square/rectangles. It doesn't flop over because of the weight of the large slice. Plus, if I want just a little more, I don't have to choose between one large slice or nothing. It's very simple east coast. Oh, and fock you cack lickers who fold their pizza. The only reason you have to fold it is because you people haven't figures out how to cut the pizza into smaller pieces.
cyclone24 1,797 Posted March 16, 2018 This. Square cut is the way to go. And occasionally you'll get some young kid That has no concept of how this works on a circular pizza and that is comedy gold my friend.
vuduchile 1,940 Posted March 16, 2018 Square cut is one of the dumbest thing ever done to a pizza. You end up with nothing but limp, soggy inedible slices in the middle, leaving the edge pieces as the only real desirable slices.

Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted March 16, 2018 I knew someone would bring up the pie or cake anology. It's not the same, just like deep dish or stuffed pizza. A square cut would not support the piece, maybe cake would, and sometimes if it's a huge ass cake, yes, it gets cut in squares. I will create a separate response for one of the dumbest things I have ever read on here by a square slice hater

Why would you have any less soggy pizza in the middle if it's triangle cut???? The cut doesn't change the texture of each bite Plus, pizza places back home more regularly have a crisper/non soggy crust. Every pizza I have gotten out here has been soggy in the middle. Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted March 16, 2018 That was seriously the dumbest thing ever vudu. And you are a Chicago guy! Just take one end for every few middle you take. It's pretty simple . Oh and I prefer middles anyway

Because if you have the manual dexterity of a normal human being, you can hold the entire triangular slice by slightly curving the outer edges with one hand, thus working your way from the soggy middle part to the stiffer crustier edge. A stupid middle square slice is as exactly as greasy, limp and unsatisfying as a geeks c0ck.
wiffleball 4,631 Posted March 16, 2018 Pizza is round because of how the dough is prepared. It is,was prepared as a disc that would stretch as pizza chefs would use the natural effects of centripetal force and tangential velocity to both stretch the dough gently whilst naturally aerating the dough. V=RW. now, for those of you who eat pizza with dough that comes as a prepackaged roll from Pillsbury, it doesn't much matter. But. Physics.

MDC 5,877 Posted March 16, 2018 Square pizza is for Sicilian or deep dish. Triangle pizza shouldnt flop over because the crust is crispy. If not, fold it.

Putting extra pointless effort into holding a slice stops me from doing other things, because sometimes the end is too soggy to even matter. Making it a two handed event, which stops me from doing other shlt with my hand. Plus, most of your triangle pizza is greasy and unsatisfying anyway, just like a middle individual slice. Except it is satisfying because it's pizza. You are just a pizza hater. It disgusts me that you could call pizza unsatisfying.

Mookz 1,287 Posted March 16, 2018 A lot of times the place will slice it up for you (always into triangles, which is telling). If you try to make squares after that, you're gonna be eating weird polygons. Just a warning.
