He should have hung around. I guess he was at the end of his rope. Too bad he couldn't swing it any longer. :(

You should be ashamed of yourself.

Not nice.

I know in the past he suffered from alcohol and drug abuse.. Which from what I have heard was bcoz of some personal issues...... But damn, there are 65 million walking around with so-called mental illnesses, they aren't offing themselves... I wonder what triggered him to finally take his life at this point and time.

Supposedly, he was good friends with Chris Cornell.

Today would have been Cornell's birthday.

do I get my money back for the tickets I had for July 27?

I only got them as part of the ticketmaster free ticket promotion they did

Blinken Park tour ??

Was at Citifield last night and saw this ad and I was like these two bands still touring ?

Guess not anymore- maybe I killed him off.

You know, I heard that it was Chris Cornell's birthday. But I can't remember where I heard that.

Not true actually. Chester always considered Cornell to be a pain in the neck.

Is it just me or does "Chester Bennington" sound like an adorable stuffed bear wearing one of those big furry British Hats that you'd most likely find in a Harrod's Christmas Toy display?"

"No Mummsy! I don't WANT a Paddington! I want Chester Bennington!"

:D

In Chester's defense, their concerts was doing terribly in sales. like ticket master giving away tickets bad

Plus his name was Chester. Amazing the brave fella made it as long as he did

The part that stands out to me the most is that he brought 6 kids into this world. Hard to try to understand the demons, etc., with that fact.

Prolly my favorite song by Linkin Park

:headbanger:

If you asked 100 people of appropriate age range to name a linkin park song, you'd get that one 70 times, who? 25 times, and anything else five times.

That was a hell of a song. But it was what, 20 years ago?

I have not listened to that song or any other Linkin Park song in at least 15 years. Yet every now and then I find myself singing lines to it. That's focking impressive.

Their best song is Papercut.

He seemed normal enough. Color me shocked he killed himself.

These guys aren't from suburban Detroit? I hadn't occurred to me until now that there may be more than one Lincoln Park out there.

3. Talking to Myself

4. Battle Symphony

5. Invisible

6. Heavy

7. Sorry for Now

8. Halfway Right

Sad thing is he's spreading his mental disease to how many millions of sets of young ears?

He should have been taken to Happy Valley home for those focked in the head. Here's the brochure, you'll love it there. Instead he's walking around with a rope mumbling step stool over and over and over again.

This may be my favorite Linkin Park song. Dark, down tempo tune. But still has a great hook.

Hey man. Take it easy. He's just joking.

Just breathe, and remember to keep your feet on the ground.

Korn guitarist (Brian Head Welch) goes off on Bennington.

Honestly, Chester's an old friend who we've hung with many times, and I have friends who are extremely close to him, but this is truly pissing me off!” Welch wrote Thursday. “How can these guys send this message to their kids and fans?! I'm sick of this suicide ######! I've battled depression/mental illness, and I'm trying to be sympathetic, but it's hard when you're pissed! Enough is enough! Giving up on your kids, fans, and life is the cowardly way out!!!”
