Cowboys Release Dez Bryant

Recommended Posts

He will land in the division.

They always do. I'm guessing the 'skins.

Jerry made Dez a very rich man. #88 pocketed near $60m and (basically) now says he was disrespected. WTF ?

Didn't you say he was disrespected like half a dozen posts earlier?

Nick Foles was 7 years old the last time the Cowboys won a title. Today he is a Super Bowl Champion. :first:

Allen Hurns and Cole Beasley are the starting WR's? Jerry should have resigned Brice Butler if he knew this move was inevitable. I would still go defense in the first round of the draft and hope James Washington (Oklahoma State) is still on the board in the second round.

ETA: Terrence Williams is still there at WR.

From what I read you could even maybe get Washington in the 3rd or 4th. But they need a number 1. But this isnt a strong class especially at the top.

Im gonna go with Niners. They have a ton of cap space and need some WR talent around Garoppolo. Garcon is 100 years old and Goodwin cant stay on the field.

This has New England written all over it. Effort and a desire to win has never been an issue with Dez.

Watch him end up staying in the NFC East.

seems like the trend when there is a bad break up, but i have heard....

BUF, GBP, BAL and NOS.

The Packers will not sign him.

honestly, i do not know who is a good fit for him. i think it will come down to how little he is willing to take and how willing a team is to ignore his drops and off-field baggage. his production and health have been declining for 3 years.

What do you call 47 people sitting around a TV watching the Super Bowl?

Why do they only have 47 players on their 53-man roster? Are the other six in jail? :dunno:

Jerry Jones really needs to learn from Al Davis. And basically, all of these major sports need to learn from what's his name Sterling? And Al Davis. I think you should be pretty much automatically forced to divest or a minimum surrender control of an any active commenting or Team Management once you hit say 70 years old. Maybe 75.

That movement has been (slowly) taking shape over the past couple of years.

Johnny Manziel and the Dez release are 2 of the most glaring examples........... If Jerry was making 100% of the calls - they'd both (still) be Cowboys today.

The 'disrespect' outrage is coming in the form of Dez getting released altogether........and in that - no, I do not feel he was disrespected... Dez had his shot, he did this to himself.

But sure, the front office could of manned up and released him as soon as FA opened - that was pretty shiity imo.

I'm hoping Dez goes to the Texans or anywhere in the AFC. To me if he stays in the East or would join another Cowboy rival ala Packers, Seahawks, he's dead to me.

He'll end up in Baltimore and his career will be over.

I'm thinking he goes to GB on a 2 year deal.

You think so? I dont really. I know he has been "linked" to them as a possible landing spot. But that is pretty much all speculation by the media.

How much would he get paid? Im not saying Jordy and Dez are the same. But why just let go Jordy and basically offer the minimum but turn arond and sign another older slow WR who yells on the sideline and doesn't have chemistry with Rodgers....for like 2 years 10 or 12 million?

Uhh... Flacco's elite, bro. What receiver WOULDN'T want to catch passes from him?

Well, the Giants have some standards so that rules them out.

Balls were clanking off Dez's facemask and chest, frequently - in a 70* dome.......... I'm not sure how he'd be any better trying to catch zipped bullets from Rodgers in the cold.

Man I've hated Flacco for about 10 years now. He was my QB in a FF Playoff game that I only needed him to complete a pass or 2 in the 2nd half of a game, he decided it would be a good time to screw me over. :wall:
