I'd be a little worried about the change in offensive philosophy, they are going with a much more balanced attack where they like to run and play defense now. As a fellow DT owner I'm a bit concerned about that.

Obviously, if you need to explain why it is a good nickname, it's not a good nickname.

Why anyone is still questioning Edelman in PPR at this point is beyond me. The guy is on pace for 136 catches. Obviously he won't get that much but no doubt he gets 90-100 at least. The comparisons to Welker are justified because he IS the new Wes Welker in the Patriots offense. Amendola and/or Gronk returning will not make a difference.

You people amaze me on this nonsense. Edelman is not going to take a back seat to Dobson or Thompkins. He plays every snap and will continue to even with Gronk and Amendola back. People don't want to admit it because maybe they completely whiffed with him not even on their radar, but he is the Welker - 15 catches in that offense this year. He will approach 100 catches and 7-8 tds. Those who either drafted or spent a #1 waiver on him were right to do it.

Your welcome, although now it will be too late to grab him unless you have a high waiver wire. I suspect another TD before this game is over.

Julian Edelman, I drafted in all ppr leagues. He will have at least 6 receptions today and probably 90 for the year. Not sure how he wasn't on anyone's radar and even remained undrafted in most. By week 3 he will be on a team...get him now.

Just curious if no gain by the QB is considered a sack by the defense. I lost by less than a point vs the Steelers D. They gave them a sack on a play where Cassel was stopped for no gain. I assume they got it right but wanted to confirm. Basically my season is over now so looking for any hope at this point lol.

I'm taking a shot on Julian Edelman and possibly Donald Driver in deeper leagues. I have a feeling they are going to start working Edelman back in especially with Hernandez out and Lloyd a little gimpy.

Last year first round of playoffs week 14. I was #1 seed, high points, everything. Played 8th seed. Scored top points by a mile for the week and was up by over 50 at half time in the Monday night game. That was the game where Baltimore was demolishing Texans. Guy had Schaub and AJ. I watched in horror as the points got closer and closer in the second half. I said no way could the impossible happen. Next thing I knew Schaub rolled out and hit AJ tip toeing in the back of the end zone for his 2nd TD. Done...out of playoffs. Guy went on to win SB which I would have won the way it played out. I can remember like it was yesterday.

I need another team to beat the team he is playing this week for me to get in. So I made a lopsided trade with that team to improve his lineup (not at the expense of my lineup though). Even if I see this team in the playoffs I don't care, as long as I made it too...just have to make it into the dance and anything can happen. This is a little different scenario but you do whatever it takes to win as long as it's within the rules. Sportmanship? F Sportsmanship. I had issues where needed to drop him but I had to move players around just so I can keep him. To me, Tate is the most valuable backup in the league...I know he will be valuable again at some point this season. Advice is to do what you can to keep him.

I stayed with Romo...fingers crossed. Hopefully, they got the snap straightened out and Dez is in better shape. Romo threw for 250 with worst case scenario last week so hoping for better #'s this week. Hope Fitz does well also so I can trade one of them after Romo's bye

I know this sounds crazy but I can't decide between Romo and Fitz. Everyone is riding the hot hand in Fitz but I have a strange feeling Romo does well today. If 2 of those 6 field goals by Dallas last week are TD's it's a good day for Romo. Then again, if the queen had balls she'd be king.

Yep, Saints it is....look at their next 6 games for crying out loud....just plucked them off waivers cause some idiot dropped them at the worst time...I'm rolling with them for a while. First 3 games were vs. GB, Houston and Chicago....very good offenses. Things get MUCH better for NO.
