First round PPR next year. 12 team.

Recommended Posts

I can't see him as a first round pick l just yet.

Right now I can only come up with about 6 players I really like as a first round pick.

So I'll wait and see how things play out before long.

At this moment I'm having a hard time placing Howard in my first round of picks.

That guy is just so up and down. End of season stats look good, but there are always some major downers in there. If the Colts oline became good, then I could see Hilton becoming more consistent. I still don't think the other receivers on the team are anything special

No more up and down than Julio was this year certainly.

I tell you what, this M. Thomas for the Saints looks real good.

First round good? If Cooks is gone I am concerned about him getting the top coverage.

Really been saying it most of this season.

He's the better Wr on the Saints.

But worthy of a first round pick ? I'm not sure just yet.

Oh no. You saw what happened when the Cardinals tries to put Peterson on Thomas. Cooks made them look like fools for assuming Thomas was the top receiver to cover. No there is something going on between Cooks, Brees, and Peyton. Yes as of now Cooks >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Thomas. If one of the top qbs ever is going to feed someone targets regardless of their skill level, they will rack up points. Thomas is most likely a really solid WR2 but probably not a true #1

Cant disagree with your statement.

I think Brees can make most Wrs look like a Wr 1.

Brees of course has been that good over his time.

I also think that Cooks is no better then a Wr 2 without Brees.

Cooks no question as the better speed , but I think Thomas is the player with the better hands.

More of the M Colston type. IMO.

Half Point PPR (my top 12)

01) David Johnson RB1

02) Leveon Bell RB2

03) Ezekiel Elliott RB3

04) Antonio Brown WR1

05) Odell Beckham Jr. WR2

06) Julio Jones WR3

07) Mike Evans WR4

08) AJ Green WR5

09) LeSean McCoy RB4

10) Melvin Gordon RB5

11) TY Hilton WR6

12) Jordy Nelson WR7

There are lots of other options here too. I like Howard and Demarco, ARob Deandre Hopkins, Cooks, and then I think Reed will be the #1 TE drafted in most formats. Interesting to discuss; will be lots of changes I presume as things sort themselves out this offseason.

My revised list in order.

1. David Johnson (rb1)

2. LeVeon Bell (rb2)

3. Ezekiel Elliott (rb3)

4. Antonio Brown (wr1)

5. Odell Beckham Jr. (Wr2)

6. Julio Jones (wr3)

7. Mike Evans (wr4)

8. AJ Green (wr5)

9. Jordy Nelson (wr6)

10. LeSean McCoy (rb4)

11. Melvin Gordon (rb5)

12. Jordan Howard (rb6)

My takeaway is that I'd be happy with having one of the top 9-10 picks. I dropped Gurley out, but I think he'll have a bounce back. The schedule will likely be easier and the new regime will make his success a priority.

Murray owner here in redraft. I will not pay his first round tag next year . Henry will become heavily involved.

Agreed. You got a deal on him this year, but next year he will be overdrafted. OTOH, if Gurley falls to me at the end of Round 1 I'd be all over that.
