Worst interfaces and so complex you need computer degrees to decode it. Everyone in our league is begging to scrap it and pay the outrageous fee for CBS just to have it back. I use these and they work fine, especially Yahoo. Am I just a newb to think that? Do I not know any better? I really like the Yahoo interface, the draft tool, and the league pages. MFL is best for those that require more customization for their leagues and can read at a 5th grade level. If you meet neither of these standards then you are correct that MFL is not for you. This past weekend it would freeze up at a score.....had to back out to see the actual score on the main page, but it wasnt updating on the SCORING page. Which blows. Cuse9 128 Posted September 12, 2014 Like most here, I have used almost every fantasy site there is. Yahoo, ESPN, CBS, MFL, Sandbox......they are all the same in my opinion. Bottom line is it's easy to navigate your team on all of them. All of them seem to go down here and there. The only time it would really suck is if the site went down during the time when free agents came available. One thing I do know...all the sites are better than the way it was when I first started. CBS from maybe 5 years ago was the greatest FF site I could imagine. Everything easy, click a player and get stats and links to add, roster grid nice, great live scoring that shows carrys and lights up when changes. RepoPatrol 14 Posted September 13, 2014 Not much i like about CBS at this point. Just about every change they have made is negative in my book. 15 years and this is my last season. From the off center picture they force you to use, the oversized player listing while searching free agents, the repeated clicks to full player info, the scroll within a scroll add/drop process, the new scoreboard which updates sporadically and makes you hover to see stats, a crappy playoff bracket system that doesn't allow a champion to be presented on the site using our system, a draft room that screws people every year, the crappy bulletin board format, the placing the commish message at bottom of page, the polluting of the message board with their own stories, the fricking Snickers ads all day, all the time, it all sucks. Just as bad is the fantasy advice given by their analysts. The only redeeming feature is the weekly recap articles. Why does this happen? has to be people trying to justify their jobs and people trying to justfy the money they pay for those jobs. No discerning decision maker would have ever let these decisions been made. Greed will end up ruining fantasy football just like it ruins everything else. LunaTick 29 Posted September 13, 2014 ESPN, if I had to pay to use it, would be quickly ditched. Of the sites I have used over the years is the least customizable. Have used them for about 5 years and not once has there been any improvments made to it from year to year. I should say, there are scoring options I would like to explore, but ESPN does not provide that much flexibility. I find I am always fighting with it to work well. Playoff structure, puke. Our league does a playoff and a toilet bowl. They do not provide the means for doing this. Sites go down from time to time, this has always happened. Though much less today than in years past. Unfortunately my work only uses IE (as do most of my league mates), and Chrome has major security holes, no thanks. Seeing that the majority of computers still use IE, I would think making it work would be a high priority, but apparently not. CBS did say they are getting it to work with IE11, which also sucks, IE 10 seems to be the way to go at the moment. My league left a site we were on for 8-years to try CBS a couple years ago, and now with all the stupid changes as others have mentioned, it's almost unusable...will look to try another site next year, perhaps MFL. Some bright guy got the idea to put adds/drops and trades into a tiny pop up menu that you have to slide up and down so you can see what's there. Why I have no idea. RedzoneMonster 102 Posted September 22, 2014 Agree 1000% CBS changes blow! Trying to navigate on an iPad or iPhone has become nearly impossible. And forget trying to add/drop using an iPhone/pad with the stupid scroll within a scroll feature now. Icons to click are way too small. Score center was GREAT until they changed it. Stats don't update fast at all even on the game center. I have to keep ESPN Game Center open to see what's really going on in games in real time. MFL is actually awesome if you are intelligent enough to read unlike dumbass up above us. MFL is also cool for dynasty. but ultimately yahoo or even fleaflicker are free and completely cover everything you would need. paying for a site is stupid. love, jdon ps. sorry in advance to the guy I called a dumbass, I am sure you are a wonderful person but just not good at interwebs...
