Tiger Woods - Official Golf Ranking - 508

Recommended Posts

The hits keep coming for Tiger Woods. For the first time in his career as a professional golfer, Woods dropped out of the top 500 in the Official World Golf Rankings when he fell nine spots to No. 508 this week. The last time Woods was outside the top 500, as the Associated Press pointed out, was in July 1996.

He was still an amateur at the time.

Since his pro debut in late 1996, his ranking has skyrocketed. Woods finished No. 33 at the end of 1996 and, looking at the rankings at the end of each calendar year, didn't slip out of the top three until 2011.

1 spot ahead of Tag Ridings.

C'mon Tiger, come back already!

He hasn't been playing. Of course you drop in the rankings.

In week 4 next year is Tom Brady going to be the worst QB in the league because he has 0 passing yards?

No because his INT to TD ration will be 1:1 and lots will be worse....

Plus brady will be suspended not choosing not to play because he doesn't have it anymore ;)

deflection from what ? I'm confused, help me out.

One of the two greatest golfers the world has ever seen has been hurt the past 3 and half years, having multiple surgeries on his knees and back and therefore not played much at all. Therefore has dropped way, way down in the rankings.

And somehow this gives people pleasure.

Not sure about being hurt that whole time. His short game was awful the last couple of years. I don't think that can be blamed on injuries.

Make up your mind... Just the other day you were touting him as "Back" and the greatest ever after winning 5 times in 2013 - now you're making excuses for him bcoz he's been hurt... Which is it?

Being great at your sport doesn't entitle you to likability. TW has been a narcissistic assh0le his entire life, has treated fans and loved ones like shiat and has totally shunned the entire media world. People cheer for his failure bcoz he's a pr!ck.
