Once my 2nd and 3rd round picks came around I had to choose between some of the top WR's and some lesser RB's. There were already 20 RB's off the board before my 2nd pick so I chose 2 stud WR's thinking that there is a group of 10 RB's that are all of similar value and at least 1 would make it back to me. Now 12 more RB's have been picked and most teams have at least 2 if not 3 Rb's. My thinking is that I could take Chris Brown with pick 3.13 and turn around and pick up Lendale White with 4.2. This would at least seal up a decent RB option assuming Brown is the primary back and then eventually gets hurt and WHite becomes the primary back. I could also go with guys like Fred Taylor, Ahman Green, Dominick Rhodes....those guys are either at the end of their career or dangerously close to losing their spot. I could also pretty much forfeit having a good #2 RB and pick up a stud TE and stud QB or another quality WR. The QB and TE runs are about to start. I'm guessing I won't have many options at all at those positions by time my pick is up again. So should I take 2 solid players or use both of my picks to find a #2 RB? biglou 2 Posted July 3, 2006 Go with a running back. I'm hearing good things about Taylor's offseason.
Wildman 0 Posted July 4, 2006 I like your options at RB (Titans backs). I think Taylor is a good guy to possibly consider over those backs, but either way I think Green will be available later and a good bargain.
