    Charles Sims vs Dallas

If it's the O-line, how come the other RBs (Martin, Rainey) all done better the last few years behind the same line? Until that fluke run last week, he was averaging barely over 3.0 YPC. Sankey was drafted higher than Sims, that doesn't mean he's going to start in Tenn. Gordon was a 1st round pick, but he's currently playing behind Woodhead. At some point, NFL production trumps draft slot. Sims could be the starter next year, and if you don't have better keeper options, he's a decent lottery ticket. He needs to improve as a runner, though.

    Charles Sims vs Dallas

Two big problems with this idea. 1-Sims isn't that good, as a RUNNING back. Until that one carry (which was his career long, by A LOT), he was only averaging 3.7 YPC this year. Even with that run, he is only averaging 3.7 for his career. 2-The Bucs can't trade Martin; the deadline has passed & he's a FA next year. They'd have to franchise him, and pay him AT LEAST $10.93 million in order to be able to trade him. That won't happen.

++ UPDATED: Dion Lewis Hurt - ACL, Out for the Year

White was inactive; he doesn't play ST, Bolden does. White will probably get more work if Lewis is out going forward.

    I just traded Bell.

I'm in a similar situation. have an offer of Lynch, D Murray and Julio for Bell. Keeper league; only Bell can be kept-the other 3 are at the end of their contracts. Would be a rental situation. RBs now are: Bell, Martin, Blount (flex) WRs now are: Cobb, J Matthews RBs after would be: Lynch, Martin, D Murray (flex) & WRs would be Julio and Cobb. Is the upgrade from Blount to Murray & Matthews to Julio worth the drop from Bell to Lynch (is Murray an upgrade?)

Do I have the greatest team ever?

Did you not notice that his post said "1-team PPR?" He's mocking you bragging about your team. Your RBs are weak. If you knew you had Gordon coming back, and had ODB on the bench, instead of coming on here to brag, you should have upgraded at RB.

the time to dump Keenan Allen thread...

With only 3 bench spots, there should be more WRs than that available, IMO, and you should have dropped Allen a while ago. That being said, the guys in red are clearly better options (in my mind) over Allen going forward.

    LeVeon Bell and Touchdowns...

Blount signed a 2 year contract, but he's not really the GL back. The Steelers just haven't had many GL carries. 8 total this year from inside the 5. 5 for Bell, 3 for Blount. Neither RB has scored from inside the 5 (on rushing plays).

    Jordan Matthews

Time will tell if it was a one week fluke or not. Evidently Chip Kelly was quoted as saying Matthews involvement was just part of the gameplan against Carolina, not to read into it. That being said, there was supposedly a good connection between Sanchez & Matthews in pre-season, and Sanchez seemed to stay shorter on most of his passes yesterday, which would seem to favor the underneath routes; Maclin this season, has looked to run more of the deep routes that DJax ran last year. Also, both TDs came when Sanchez was under a little pressure. The fact that he looked for, & found, Matthews in those situations may speak to the connection that they have.

McKinnin or Asiata (which better stash?)

I wouldn't expect Peterson to be re-instated soon. Other than Ray Rice (whose release & indefinite suspension were completely outside the new domestic abuse policy), this is the 1st "test" of the new policy. Since he was suspended, with pay, for the last 8 games, those missed games don't count as punishment (the policy specifically mentions being suspended, without pay). The NFL will likely make Peterson serve some suspension, at the very least to save pay. The fact that they refused to immediately re-instate him AND refused to discuss any kind of settlement about the length of his suspension is a good indicator of this, IMO. I would expect a 2-4 game suspension, but it likely won't be announced until after week 11. If this were to happen, the earliest he'd be back would be week 14, and possible not until week 16. The Vikings are also reportedly not sure about how to handle him if he were to be re-instated. That being said, if McKinnon is available, I think you grab him, but as a fill in for the Murray in week 11 or Bell in week 12, Asiata offers the shot at a TD plunge.

    Vereen

By crappy offense, do you mean the one that is top-7 in scoring for the year, and top-5 in yards over their last 3 games?

    Week 8 WW Pickups

Stacy was fully healthy and went away this week. Zero touches.

Who did you pick up to replace Josh

This guy posted over a month ago that Gordon would win his appeal & get no suspension. Then about 3-4 weeks ago, he hedged his bet, and said IF Gordon gets suspended, he'll sue b/c the NFL policy violates Ohio law (it doesn't). Then, at the beginning of last week, when the decision had been made, but not yet announced, he said that IF Gordon didn't win, his lawyers would file a lawsuit that very day (they didn't). Now, he's expecting a lawsuit any day now, and b/c he claims to have spoken to a court clerk who is "ready" for a lawsuit, that's his "proof" that it's happening. He doesn't know what he's talking about, but he's trying to get as many page views as possible from people how are desperately hoping Gordon will beat this.

Whats Buffalo doing with Fred Jackson?

It doesn't contain much guaranteed money for 2015. His salary is $2.35 million, but doesn't become guaranteed until AFTER week 1 of the 2015 season. The only guaranteed money is a $100K roster bonus. If Jackson declines this year (or in TC next year), the Bills can release him & only be on the hook for (at most) $100,000. It's a nice gesture for a veteran, and it looks good for Bills fans (as I'd imagine FJax is a Buffalo favorite), and since it's not a huge amount of money, IF (big if, IMO), Jackson still looks good this year, he'd be a cheap insurance policy if they can't re-sign Spiller & have to hope Brown pans out or they draft a young RB.

This is pretty conclusive......Tomlin is lying.

While I agree that Gepetto's idea that Tomlin planned this out for this specific kick return is pretty far flung, I kind of think that Tomlin stands at that same spot during kickoffs (evidently, he provided video from other games showing him in pretty much the same spot) with this idea in mind. That at some point, he might be able to influence a returner by where he is positioned. Not that he plans it so the Steelers let the returner free up the sideline, but that IF it were to happen, he would be right there. Not that he would actually contact a returner going up the sideline, but that by standing there, he might influence them to move away from the sideline. Tomlin seems to think he is a smart guy (listen to some of his arrogant, condescending quotes/answers to questions), and I could see him having thought this out way ahead of time (not for this specific instance, but "it might happen one day" kind of thinking).

This is pretty conclusive......Tomlin is lying.

This is absolutely conclusive. If you have already per-determined that Tomlin was intentionally trying to disrupt Jones, AND you VERY liberal with your interpretation of the phrase "pretty conclusive." Because all this shows is the same video from a different angle that proves nothing.
