I'm not sure I get the outrage here. An institution canceling an event is not censorship. Ann Coulter can still say whatever it is that she wants to say through numerous outlets. I didn't care to watch more than 30 seconds of the video, but I sure hope, whether he successfully communicated it or not, that the professor's point was that Ann Coulter has the right to say what she wants and an institution has the right to decide that they don't want her saying it on their premises - especially if it's something their paying students are rallying against.

The meat of Tucker's points: "Quality of the speaker" is so wildly subjective, how can you possibly make sure it avoids being about ideology?

 

When speakers have been 'banned', has it ever been due to a group of conservatives? The prof. brought up that it sometimes happens to those on the left...but, by whom?

 

Not that it would be good for ratings but there was an opportunity to thoughtfully, genuinely reason the professor out of his flimsy rationale (or maybe learn something unexpected about it).

 

Ultimately, as much as it looks like Tucker is substance oriented, he's mostly just pursuing a pwnage spectacle.
