    Taiwan Jones

Considering this info, would anyone be bold enough to start both Bush & Taiwan? Im kind of leaning this way instead of picking up the likes of R Bush, P Thomas, or Moreno. OAK could run all over DEN, or they could use it as a game to let Palmer throw a lot to find his rhythm. Any thoughts?
  2. That is a good point - I hadnt thought of Ward's routes. It explains why Sanders had a pedestrian yards avg last game. (although 6 targets in one half is worth noting.) I agree if Ward is out both these guys should have good days.

    - just noticed this thread. pardon the double posting - I have Vernon slated for my #3 wr/te spot. I am going against Big Ben this weekend and am considering Brown or Sanders as a counter move. Brown seems like the safest play, but if Ward misses the game Sanders 'could' have a huge day. Vernon is a crap shoot but has a decent match up (Cle). I need to score heavy this week to beat this guy. (Little & Demaryius on bench) Thanks

  5. I am very curious about this question - Brown vs Sanders - as it relates to Ward's status this week. (am going against Roth & want to cash in a little) People everywhere are touting Brown this week (justified), but even more so if Ward were to miss or be limited. But according to this chart of last week's snaps: http://www.steelersdepot.com/2011/10/steelers-cardinals-week-7-offensive-participation-chart-personnel/ -- it shows that when Ward left the game Sanders was given an enormous amount of playing time in the 2nd half - much more than Brown. "Sanders caught five passes for 46 yards and a touchdown against the Cardinals Sunday. Recommendation: With Hines Ward sidelined for most of the second half, Sanders was given an opportunity and did not disappoint. After seeing only one pass come his way in the first half, Sanders grabbed five of the six targets in the second half, including a red zone touchdown. His value hinges on the health of Ward, so monitor his status during the week." (Rotowire.com) Also from rotowire: "Brown was already having a strong game before Ward exited." Sanders is supposedly the better route runner, and is also a good red-zone threat despite his size because of great leaping ability. This game will probably be a shootout & if Ward cannot go or is severely limited who is really the best option between these two? Brown should be in for a strong day regardless, but if last week was any indication of Sanders playing time with Ward out - his stat line doubled from last week's 2nd half would project to 12 targets, 10 rec., 92 yds, 2 tds. That level of opportunity could spell the greater play against NE. But I dont know...everyone is talking about Brown benefiting the most minus Ward - could Sanders be the strong play here (if Ward is out)?
