There is no way the Eagles take a WR in the first. They just addressed that position in FA...With all their glaring holes on D a WR makes zero sense in the first round.

Rice (never bench your studs) and flip a coin on the other two. I think Best has the better matchup but I like Jones more.

Bolden is a no brainer.

Go with MJD and Mendy. Williams could have a good week but he has competitiion for carries in Carolina and they have no QB. MJD and Mendy are the safer plays IMO.

Huge Eagles fan here but I think it’s getting a little thick here in Philly. I am very excited because the Eagles solidified a weakness of theirs but c’mon, Namdi is not unbeatable and neither is DRC. The AFC west WR's are not on the same level as the NFC north nor are the QBs. Again, I am very excited about these signings and this season but I smell a letdown with all this hype. We all need to temper our expectations a bit.

Very solid point. But, as was stated in an earlier post, the NFL has become much more pass friendly in recent years so 3 solid CB are a huge asset in today's league. However, as MDC said, if the justification of a Samuels trade is to sure up $ to make Jackson happy then I'm cool with that.

This is about as solid a free agent period as I've ever seen with the Eagles. Our secondary should be the best in the league even if they were to trade away Samuels (which I hope they don't). I am stoked about having Vince Young on the bench if Vick were to go down. They really solidified the QB position with this move. I am still a little worried about Vick/Young's protection but hopefully they will address that too. I expect one or two more moves to sure up the OL and LB positions and of course some resolution with the Jackson situation but, as of now, I am very optimistic about this season.

What does your professions code of ethics have to do with it? Politicians have a code of ethics too and I know of a few of them who may have bent them a little too far. The point is about not needing a code of ethics to do the ethical thing. You've already showed that you are willing to do shady things if you can get away with it. Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is looking. You are exactly who I thought you were.

Well, as a matter of fact, I do not take office supplies or anything else that doesn't belong to me because I believe there are consequences. Even if you don't get caught you will have to answer for it on one level or another. I don't expect you to beieve me and I've nothing to prove to anyone on a message board anyway. I do not claim to be a saint. I am wrong in many things I do but I try to do the right thing as often as possible. I am only morally superior to the morally bankrupt. I agree that it was probably not an issue in the majority of leagues but it is the attempt at justifying a cheesey move that sticks in my craw. Just because you can do something doesn't mean that you should. Its about integrity man but as a lawyer I'm sure you're not familiar with that concept.
