    NFL Sunday Ticket

Look, all you have to do is call Direct TV and say "cancel service". The automated system will automatically send you to the retention department. Once you are there, just tell them some story about how your wife lost her job and you need to cut back or your wife wants to cancel and go back to dish network or cable or something along those lines because she found a great deal. I just did this the other day and I also added that the only reason we had direct tv in the first place was because of the NFL ticket and there is no way I could justify paying for it again this year. A quick 30 minute phone call and I walked away with an upgraded package for less money than I was initially paying, free Starz and Showtime for 6 months, FREE NFL Ticket and Redzone and 10 bucks off my monthly bill for 1 year! There is another FF site with a lenghy post on this subject and how well this works. Try it...worst that can happen is that if they call your bluff just say that you need to double check with your wife that you actually want to cancel. But I guarantee you they will offer you something!

    Fitzpatrick vs Edwards

What are the thoughts on Fitzpatrick? I will admit I dont know much about him, but have heard he has a better arm than Edwards. Does this boost the value of T.O. and the offense or will they still suck? Also, will Edwards regain the starting spot when he comes back?

Anyone else high on McNabb this week?

Same dilemma here. McNabb or Romo....if McRib does anything against the Raiders, I start him with confidence since Romo has been shakey, but now I am scared he is gonna screw me again!!!

    Please guys...

Since somebody else started this WDIS thread here.... Should I start ATL D or pick up the Denver D, NE D, Cardinals D or Jags D. Please and thank you. BTW...to the OP....sit Walter, start Romo.

    Week 5 W.W. Pickups

Do you have a link on this? I have heard nothing recently of NO cutting Carney? That was all speculation in pre-season I thought? Thanks.

Dwayne Bowe for Terrell Owens Straight Across

WTF? This might be the weirdest thing I have ever read on here. Anyway....I would stick with Bowe as well. Owens is still a serviceable option, but other than the occasional long touchdown in garbage time, he will finish with below average numbers most weeks. (I hope I am right, I am benching Owens for Hester this week!)

    ****Week 4 Power Rankings****

I think the Vikings could be at the bottom of that list if not on it at all. Yes, they are 3-0. But week 1 vs the Browns, they were losing at halftime until AP took over and gave us probably one of the greatest TD runs in history. Week 2, again losing at halftime, beat the Lions who everyone expected to be a complete blowout, and it was far from it until late in the 4th qtr and week 3 won on a miracle TD vs the 49ers with 2 seconds left. Dominant? Powerful? I just dont see it. I think the ranking has more to do with AP being there than an actual "team" ranking. JMO.

    Colston a legit WR1

I was actually on bored with you for a moment until I read your sig and saw that you also drafted Orton, Marshall and Prater. Go Broncos?

    Colston a legit WR1

Boldin/Smith/Colston all seem to have an "injury risk" label on them which bothers me a bit. But after the consensus Wr's are gone, of these three, best upside, for THIS year, I think Colston has the least question marks and the highest ceiling. I take him without hesitation.

    Colston a legit WR1

Yeah, Smith put up some nice receiving yard totals last year! Another thing is the Panthers run the ball so good, they dont feature him around the goal line. Colston is heavily involved in the redzone......I think I just convinced myself.

    Tony Gonzalez and Atlanta

I think he will be involved quite a bit more than ATL's tight ends were involved last year. You dont just bring in a Hall of Famer and not use him. This being said, I do not think he will come anywhere near his totals last season and I think that he hurts Roddy Whites #'s to boot. 65/780/6

I dont disagree with your "injury risk" point, but hasnt Steve Smith missed games due to injury every year he has been in the league other than last year when he missed 2 games to suspension? I have always been a fan of Steve Smith. But look at his numbers. He has had only one really good season, 2005. 1563/12. He is a solid #2 and should get you 6-8 td's. He does have potential for more, yes...but I really think people are trying to get 2005 #'s out of him for where he is usually drafted.
