  1. Looking for a 2QB league. 10 - 16 teams, prefer auction draft but snake is OK Looking for a free league or one with hosting site cost only
  2. Got another trade that I might offer up but before I do wanted to run it by the group Guy in my league in rebuild mode he finished last place last year so unless he hits home runs with his rookies he will probably be near the bottom again but he has been accumulating first round picks. I'm new in the league so I did not see what and who he traded but he has no real offense talent so either he started with nothing or traded it away to accumulate the firsts - he has the 1.01 1.04, and 1.08. Here is what I am considering but not sure he will bite. I give my 2017 1.06 for his 2018 1st round + Cameron Meredith. I think it is a no brainer and I would not take it if I were him but he might have rookie fever.... I'm new to dynasty so thought I'd run it by you all. It is dynasty PPR, 12 teams, roster 54, Start QB 1 / RB 1-3 / WR 2-5 / TE 1-4 / PK 1 for 9 total offense + 9 defense My roster (primary offense players) QB: Tyrod, Bradford, Bridgewater, Alex Smith RB: Devonta Freeman, Doug Martin, Jalen Richard, Prosise, Jacquizz Rodgers WR: Julio Jones, Willie Snead, Kelvin Benjamin, Decker, Moncrief, Eli Rogers, Perriman, Doctson TE: Gronk, Hooper, Swoope, Richard Rodger Picks: 1.06, 3.06, 5.06, 6.06 Just traded my 2.06 for Doctson with someone else in my league which I believe was a good deal. From everything I read in the various sites the odds of rookie picks panning out are a bit of a crapshoot and better off to trade uncertain picks for players with names and some history. Especially for picks oustide of the first 6-8 picks??? In the case of the 1.06 for the 2018 1st + Meredith I believe I would just be getting Meredith for free though a little delayed gratification on the first rounder. And if he is as bad this year as he was last I will be getting a 1.01 - if not a 1.91 odds are probably better than the 1.06 I'm putting on the table Thoughts and comments please...

Trade Gronk for WR1, but not quite

Thanks all for your comments. I took a pass on the trade and did not counter but told him that I was looking for a legit WR1. His reply was that Cooper and Evans were not on the table. Appreciate the comments from all of you that replied.

Trade Gronk for WR1, but not quite

Agree - would you be in the same place if it was Cooper and the picks were out of the picture?
  5. I posted in my league that I was interested in moving Gronk – primarily interested in picking up a WR1 but willing to package a multi-player swap but the core to be Gronk and a WR1. I was offered the following trade. The trade – I give Gronk, Decker, 2.06 I receive Keenan Allen, J. Cook, 4.05 It is dynasty PPR, 12 teams, roster 54, Start QB 1 / RB 1-3 / WR 2-5 / TE 1-4 / PK 1 à 9 total offense + 9 defense My roster (primary offense players) QB: Tyrod, Bradford, Bridgewater, Alex Smith RB: Devonta Freeman, Doug Martin, Jalen Richard, Prosise, Jacquizz Rodgers WR: Julio Jones, Willie Snead, Kelvin Benjamin, Decker, Moncrief, Eli Rogers, Perriman TE: Gronk, Hooper, Swoope, Richard Rodger Picks: 1.06, 2.06, 3.06, 5.06, 6.06 His Roster QB: Brees, Carr, Cousins, RG III RB: Jamaal Charles, Dixon, Ervin, Hightower, Dion Lewis, Jeremy Hill, Lynch, Alf Morris WR: Keenan Allen, Cooper, Evans, Demaryius Thomas, Wheaton, Allison TE: Bennett, Cook, Fiedorowicz, Higbee, Miller Picks: 1.09, 2.08, 4.05, 5.05, 5.12, 6.12 I am probably going to pass on the trade but wanted some input. I have Keenan just outside the top 12 in my PPR rankings so not a legit WR1.....plus considerable risk – injury and competition for targets from now that Williams, Benjamin, and Inman have stepped up last year. That busts the intent I had with the trade. My view is that Gronk trade for a back end WR1 would be a one-for-one swap or close to it but with Allen having higher injury risk than Gronk (if that’s possible) and hasn't seen anywhere close to a full season and is outside the top 12 for me. The Decker – Cook piece of the trade is not in my favor and I don’t need Cook. The pick piece of the trade does not happen even if I become convinced to take on the other parts of the trade. The pick part of the trade is a non-starter for me. Wanted to roll this out and get your comments and advice. Thanks in advance.

Going Forward - PPR Keeper Question

Hope it works out. If you were in my league I would give you Landry and a pick in a heartbeat. Hope your pick hits but that is a bit of a dice roll for my taste

Best value in the next two years. Keeper inquiry.

Nelson no matter if PPR or Standard. Proven, reliable, and Rogers.

    DeAndre Hopkins next year?

Zeke Green Nelson - no question. Romo is out so Hopkins is dust again unless Houston can pull something out of a hat - Garropolo, Cutler? Even then it is still Zeke Green Nelson for me.

Working on keepers for next season

Bell Hyde - esp under Shanahan Hilton - Luck's favorite target and if he starts finding the end zone he moves up a full tier Allen - don't think he performs but the upside is too high to let hime go - interesting trade value if nothing else #5 is your call - If Houston had gotten Romo then both Miller and Hopkins are both very solid and would put either one of them far above Allen, but with no good QB in sight I'm not high on either of them. As mentioned above Denver runs so CJ is solid but I lean more to Ingram. Hightower is gone and if Ingram can stay out of the doghouse he has higher value than CJ for me. Brady is tough to let go and if Gronk stays healthy and now Cooks on the squad he could have another 2 monster years and you basically never have to stream as long as someone on the Pats keeps the balls inflated. So for me #5 would be a toss up between Ingram and Brady - probably Ingram and pick up a QB in the draft Good luck

    Help with a dynasty trade

I need some help and advice on a trade with a couple of different options - not sure if any on them are worth doing. Dynasty 12-team PPR league. It is IDP with a 53 man roster. Starting line-up 1 QB, 1 PK, 1-3 RB, 2-5 WR, 1-4 TE --> 9 Offense 3 LB, 3 CB/S, 3 DE/DT --> 9 Defense In the 1st trade option I am being offered Cousins, Jamaal Charles, Hightower, Bennett, 2017 2.08 pick My side of the trade is I give up Smallwood, Malcolm Mitchell, Jordan Reed Giving up Reed for the hot mess I am getting sours me to this trade the 2nd trade option I am offered Cousins and Bennett I give up Smallwood and Mitchell As I am writing this it dawns on me that this one stinks too. My core team QB: Brady, Kaepernick, Cardale Jones, Connor Cook RB: McCoy, Miller, Ingram, Chris Thompson, Smallwood WR: Cooks, Fitzgerald, Lockett, D Jackson, Mitchell, Enunwa, Britt, Carroo, Robert Woods, Green-Beckham TE: Reed, Stephen Anderson, Kendricks, Sefarian-Jenkins Defense I am very strong on the line - Khalil Mack, Calais Campbell, Cameron Heyward. Linebackers are very middle of the road. The primary reason I would consider the trade is to pick up the Cousins to backstop Brady and I have enough WR that I really won't miss Mitchell I don't think and I can't count on market share stability under Bellicheck My view is I pass on both of these - especially the 1st one where I give up Reed but I'm new to Dynasty and am also worried in the short term if Brady goes down. Would love to get an opinion or two to sanity check Only possibility I might throw back as a counter is the other team has Telvin Smith and if I could include him in the trade and add in one of my mid-level LBs like Worrilow or Bruce Irvin that might swing the balance but this is my first year in IDP and I am really out of my depth. Help!
  12. Looking for a free league - active and competitive. I don't play money leagues but I do play seriously. A startup league is much preferred and I definitely love auction drafts over snake drafts. 8 years playing Fantasy. Last year had 30+ teams that were all auction drafts and came in 1st or 2nd place with half my teams - did well with the auctions and the waiver wire. No prior experience with IDP but am very interested in that. Also interested in Keeper or Dynasty. Prefer a startup so I can only blame myself if it doesn't go well. OK with an orphan as long as it is not a team that is in a shambles. Prefer no Super Deep leagues. Primary interest is Free, Active, and Competitive. I am very active so you won't have issues with my keeping my lineups up to date and will respond promptly to trades and other communications. Mostly familiar with ESPN and Yahoo but willing to go on other sites as well. Contact me at gilbertfl6@gmail.com
