Long time league (12+ years) needs two, maybe three, new owners for our 12 team league this season. We will be doing a live draft in Aurora Colorado on Sunday Sept 2, 2012 about 5:30 PM. Location TBD but likely near Parker and Havana. 12 teams Details Redraft, 16 rounds (8 starters/ 8 bench), 12 team/ 3 divisions with the 3 division winners and 3 WC teams making playoffs. $150 buy in, winner takes $700 with payouts to all teams that make the playoffs. Start 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 flex (RB/WR), 1 TE, 1 DST, 1 K. Serpentine draft, draft spots drawn during our annual pre-draft meeting about early August is when we determine draft spots. Pretty standard scoring for positions 1pt for 25 yards passing, 1 pt for 10yds rec/rush, all TDs 6 points etc. We are drafting Sunday August 26, 2012 in the evening (about 5:30PM) in the South/ Southeast part of the Denver metro areacity (exact location TBD). 1. Keeper League - Denver Colorado. Drafting 11 AM Sunday Sept 4 in Aurora Colorado. 2. Keeper League - keep 3 from your roster max of 1 per position with max 2 at WR position. This league has been going for 10+ years now. 3 brothers moved and created this opening. 3. DETAILS a. Pricing- $125 buy in, $3 for all add/drops via reverse order of standings/ standard waivers. Most teams make 8-15 moves (some more) per year. b. Rosters - 18 man roster no position maxs c. Draft format - pre-draft to establish every team has 3 keepers (no rookies). It is impossible for you not to have a top 12 QB, top 12 RB, and top 14 WR (if teams keep 2 WR). First 2 rounds are standard snake/ left to right via draft order but for each subsequent round we draw balls to see the next draft position. We thought it was unfair to have to do every round from the same draft spot. d. Rules- LOTS of bonus points here - 5 pt for 50 yds rec/ rush, 10 pts for 100 yds rec/ rush. Additional bonus for TE (+10 at 50 yds rec and +10 at 100 yds) QB rushing bonus 50+yds = 8pt bonus, 100 yds=+10). Defenses earn bonus points for longer returned Kickoffs, punts, interceptions, and fumbles for TDs. A 45 yard FG is worth 9 points, a 80 yard KR TD is 25 points, I am happy to copy/paste the entire list for someone if they are interested. It is a lot of points! e. Old Chicago's at Buckley and Iliff, Sunday Sept 4, 2011 at 11AM. Usually done in 2.5 hours if we start on time. f. Waiver rules - $3 per add/drop. Most teams make 8-15 moves per year. This goes into the prize money. g. Site costs / host - none, but cheap pizza and beer available via Old Chicago. h. Prizes / payout - Money for playoff wins and 1st round byes plus each round you win in the playoffs. Last years winner had about $650 with division wins, etc. Just making the playoffs as a WC gets you $50 and the money goes up from there i. Playoff structure - 3 divisions, each division winner makes playoffs, then 3 WC based on W-L record with points scored as the tiebreaker. j. General - This is a crazy fun league. I play in several and this has the most excitement due to the point structure. Lots of points, lots of twists. 4. I am happy to send you the full rosters of the teams available. Of the 12 teams, only 3 will likely keep 3 players so there is a lot of chances to get the players you want. We trade draft picks too.
