You have Zeke and Kareem Hunt and are asking who to start at RB?

Come one man...

#6363102 Josh Adams Or Alex Collins/Gus Edwards *Flex* WHIR

Adams because the other two will split the points

#6360692 Keeper Leagues - What are your thoughts on Gurley moving forward?

Posted by polecatt on 19 November 2018 - 05:07 PM

I wouldn't trade him.

It's hard to really project beyond the next season in keeper leagues but Gurley is as solid as they come.

#6358684 Jerry Rice says no to Eli

Posted by polecatt on 16 November 2018 - 09:17 AM

I think he gets in if for no other reason than he played in NY and won 2 rings, emphasis on played in NY.

I say he should get in eventually, but not first ballot.

Both title runs were amazing, not your ordinary run of the mill championships.

He was the architect of the greatest upset in NFL history, that counts for something.

I can't possibly imagine how you would make your team better unless you add some RB depth,

Trading Juju and/or Gordon for a 3rd RB may give you some insurance

#6339070 Keeper Leagues

I'm in 4 keeper leagues, no set amount on how many you can keep, just a minimum, with a small fee to keep more

One is an 8 team league, going strong since 2006, 8 keeper minimum, 12 max, 17 roster spots

Another one I joined in 2012 after the previous commissioner had run out with the money,  8 teams, 5 to 12 keepers with 9 being the neutral, no cost setting, 17 roster spots

Another is 8 teams with a 10 keeper minimum, no max, no fees to keep extra, big rosters with 23 spots. Limit of 10 FA adds during the season

The last one is another 8 team, with no minimum or max, you can drop or keep your entire team, no fees for keepers. 19 roster spots.

All 4 leagues the keepers are applied to the start of the draft. You keep an extra player you start in the 2nd round, you keep 2 extra, you start in the 3rd, etc.

I like it that way because owners can keep players or drop them to draft rookies.

The rookies are the main focus of the draft but there are plenty of interesting FAs available as well.

Makes a good draft balance.

It also makes rebuilding a team much, much, more feasible.

#6335223 Is Alex Smith droppable at this point?

Posted by polecatt on 15 October 2018 - 10:42 AM

I didn't know he was ever undroppable this season

#6326995 Who to start Rb week 5

Ingram and Coleman

#6326973 Week 5 Streaming Defense

Posted by polecatt on 03 October 2018 - 10:25 PM

You like SF v. Arizona. Interesting. I guess they do have a rookie qb in Rosen is qb and a bad OL.

Does SF have a good defense?

They have a defense good enough to have a big day against the Cardinals with a rookie QB,

The 49ers have scored decently and have had an absolutely brutal 4 games to start the season, Vikes, Lions, Chiefs, Chargers,

Only team that ran over them was the Chiefs but they have run over everybody, scored decently against the other 3

#6325586 Is Collins for Boyd a fair trade? HELP I'm Desperate

Posted by polecatt on 02 October 2018 - 07:51 PM

In PPR, I would probably do that if I were you

#6323387 Need help filling my last two spots today!

Posted by polecatt on 30 September 2018 - 08:03 AM

Fournette and Hyde, Hyde is playing very well, will probably get 20 touches and score a TD

#6321398 Woods or Fuller?

Posted by polecatt on 27 September 2018 - 03:24 PM

I have the same dilemma,

I have chosen Fuller, he seems to be one of the very best WRs when Deshaun Watson is playing

#6320257 Trade Edelman\Alshon?

Posted by polecatt on 26 September 2018 - 01:52 PM

Since you can play up to 4 WRs a week I would keep them. They're probably your 3rd and 4th WRs. You will need the depth.

I think you're fine at RB and wouldn't get much of an upgrade in a trade.

Alshon and Edelman will be about the same in value.

They will each have some big games but be a little inconsistent. Both are about WR3 or flex plays.

Edelman I think will be helped if Josh Gordon ends up working out since he and Edelman have totally different roles. They will compliment each other and both benefit. In PPr he could be a border line WR1.

Alshon, if he's the key piece to get Philly and Wentz going he could be a solid WR2. He's probably the best overall WR but Philly likes to spread the ball around.
