edjr 5,563 Posted January 19, 2017 Jeff Bagwell averaged 1 HR every 110 at bats in the minors and 1 hr ever 18 at bats in the majors. No juice here
shotsup 832 Posted January 19, 2017 And I averaged 6 beers a night as a minor and 16 when I got to the majors. Practice and maturity- no juice.
Vince44 202 Posted January 21, 2017 Pete Rose...Let the man in! HOF is a joke and can't be taken serious without the hit king.
patweisers44 697 Posted January 21, 2017 I give a lot of cred to what he did, and what he was, in the post season. He was a flat out stud when it mattered... Plus the little crazy things like Morris was the Game 1 starter for 3 different WS teams - just crazy. When you toss in he racked up 254 wins along the way, and his 3 rings - he's a no brainer for me. He also racked up almost 200 losses. And a career era of just under 4.00. Hardcore troubadour 12,633 Posted January 21, 2017 He also racked up almost 200 losses. And a career era of just under 4.00. The ERA thing is not a great argument. Look where he played. Detroit, Minnesota, Toronto. All hitters parks. All AL before inter-league play.
