They all have prolific offenses and their defenses are solid but not spectacular. That's why I realy like the idea of plopping 20-50 on a ML parlay of GB and Pitt. Oh wow you could lose 50 dollars but the payout is worth the risk especially given the quality of both teams. Aside from that, I feel like with New England having put up 34 against a better Texans defense and the fact that Pitt is not likely to kick 6 field goals again (if they can finish off 3 of those drives they score 30) and KC defense is better than New England, I really like the over in that matchup. I probably like the over in ATL-GB as well. I know it's very high but I'm feeling like thus has to be a shootout. The only thing with 61 is that it's so high that a close game with a few turnovers can kill you. Did phil make it official? He was supposed to have a press conference today. I don't think id touch him at his odds given its his first event since two surgeries. If GB loses by a field goal you still win the bet. If it's a tie the bet is void. (-105) This is the Vig. It's how bookies make their money. In this case, you bet $105 dollars to win $100. You only pay the Vig if you lose. So, if you win they give you $205. +160 This is the moneyline. If you want to bet GB straight up, no 4 points, you can bet this. You'd bet $100 to win $160. No Vig on this type of bet. It's build in to the odds. Regarding the dollar amounts above, you can adjust it using the same ratio for other dollar amounts. -105 = you could bet 10.5 to win 10 just like 105 to win 100. Loaded Box 5 Posted January 20, 2017 Wish I would have joined this topic earlier, but read today that the public was heavy on GB (70%) and with all of the injury news it's down to 59%. I still think I'd take Green Bay and the points in this one since if I feel the underdog can win, and I'm getting more than three points I tend to take the dog. I have a better feeling about New England against the spread than I do Green Bay, though. If you're talking football and the over/under is say 45.5, then if you wanted to bet the over then the total the 2 teams scored combined would have to be over 45.5 for you to win.
