bye week strategery... the 2 day kicker

Seems like a lot of trouble to "stash" a starting kicker. I don't care who the kicker is, I see no reason to ever want two of them. Drop your kicker. Bye weeks are tough enough without having a kicker or defense you are married to.

    Vikings signed Josh Freeman

You have to know a play before you can call it.

    Dynasty League Newton vs Luck

All TDs are worth 6 points, 1 point per 10 rushing yards, and 1 point per 25 passing yards. I have Luck and am being offered Newton. How retarded am I for not jumping all over this? It is a 12 team 2 QB Dynasty league. I have Peyton Manning and Josh Freeman as well, if this matters.

    Foster Trade

    Great trade. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=410611
  5. Pull the trigger on this one. You are not losing much if you plug Martin into the line up. Huge gains at WR however. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=410611

    START/SIT

I am not against that trade so much if you land Luck. I would have made sure I got luck before pulling the trigger. McFadden has had a tough schedule thus far. It gets much easier down the stretch, and is possibly the best among any of the elite RBs. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=410611

    Heath Miller or Scott Chandler?

    I like Chandler too. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=410611

    Lineup help

I like them in the exact order listed. Johnson, Smith, and Smith 2 WR and a flex. I like Rudolph, but if Graham plays, you gotta start him.

    Trade dilemma

I am in a must win situation this week with Jamaal Charles, Roddy White, and Phillip Rivers on bye weeks. I am undefeated so far, but playing against my main competition in the league. A loss would be huge as this is a head to head league with no playoffs. It is a very deep 12 2 QB league with a flex. There is no help on the waiver wire at all. I have been offered MJD and Miles Austin for Charles and White. I am currently starting DeAngelo Williams, and A. Boldin so MJD would be a huge boost. The question is, does this hurt too much long term to go all in this week? It is also a Dynasty league so consider that as well. We keep everyone. The other issue I have is that I have Jimmy Graham, and he could possibly not play, leaving me even thinner. I have Aaron Hernandez in my flex, and could move him to tight end. I could then move Boldin to my flex and start Austin at WR. Here is my team this week as is: A Luck S Bradford (2 qb league) Nicks Marshall Boldin McFadden D Will J Graham Hernandez (flex) Minnesota Crosby

12th out of 12 snake style

I just drafted from 12 this weekend. I got Forte and Charles at the turn. Then I got Harvin and Doug Martin next time around, followed by Colston and Matt Ryan. Hope that helps.

    Just sold high on Bush

One thing I liked is the fact that Burress has cleared his bye week and Smith still has to serve his. It is a small bonus.

    Just sold high on Bush

Well, I thought it was the right time to sell Bush before he comes back to Earth. In my 1/2 PPR league he was the leading scorer among RBs. I don't think he will keep it up due to his streakiness and I don't think he will take punts to the house every week. I traded Bush and Steve Smith for Gore and Burress It is a keeper league, so I lost 2 years of age on each player, but I think Gore is by far the superior back who also catches his share of passes. Smith and Burress are kind of a wash but the other guy preferred Smith obviously. Any thoughts?

Anyone ever score 200 points in a week?

You do realize you should read the post before commenting and making yourself look like an a$$. I had to start Fasano in the flex in place of Johnson. Do you think Johnson would outscore 0 points. Congrats on YOUR meaningless post. And to all you other losers who are hung up on who is the smartest fantasy player, get over yourselves. Fantasy football is mostly luck and sometimes things come together and you have a great score. I was not posting this to toot my horn to show everyone how good I am. I have Julius Jones in my starting line up for god's sake. How great can I be? I was close to the benchmark of 200 points and wondered if anyone else had done it. I also thought it was interesting that I had done it with my 2nd round draft pick sitting the bench in place of someone who put up a zero. I am sorry about all of your insecurities. Maybe you will do better next week.
  14. I have never reached the 200 mark but I ended up with 192.9 points this week in a 16 team PPR league. We get 4 pts for passing and 6 for other TDs. 1 pt for every 10 yards rushing or receiving and 1 pt for every 20 yards passing. This was with Sal Fasano's goose egg in place of Andre Johnson in the flex position. We start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1Flex, 1K, 1DST My starters were: Cutler 34.1 Portis 23.9 J. Jones 23.1 Boldin 38.0 Marshall 40.6 H. Miller 6.3 (TE gets 1.5 per catch) Fasano 0.0 Scobee 12.9 Chicago 14.0 Not bad for a 16 team league having to do without Andre Johnson. I don't expect to ever do this again. It was nearly the perfect storm. If I only had a better tight end. What are the odds that Julius Jones has another day like that? I am liking my receivers and QB, but am shallow at RB with only Ricky Williams, Kevin Jones, and Chris Taylor on the bench. I had Chris Henry, Steve Breaston, Andre Johnson, and Jason Campbell too. In a 16 team league I am not sure you could hope for a better trio than Marshall, Boldin, and Andre Johnson in a PPR league. Obviously that is why I am short at RB.

Rank the QBs right now going forward

I like this list. Manning is still king and is starting to find his way.
