Yeah like I said I voted for him to fix a handful of problems. 14 million without coverage I don't consider fixing the problem. I'll see if there's a retort or rational explanation for this though.

Just found it interesting.

And cyclone, what is going on man? You been eating a lot of soy lately or something? First you get offended about some kids wearing red white and blue, and now this? Low T maybe?

Nah, it's just the game that has to play out. He's not signing anything like that. I think he's letting Ryan screw himself.

The poor are such a pain in the ass. Now the rest of us won't be getting our tax break this year because of these losers.

I haven't read it but could these 14 million be like people who you know make a choice to not have coverage?

That's exactly what it is, if Cyclone had bothered to read the link. :dunno:

Are you on the Obamacare exchange? Because if you're not, just realize if people like you had joined up it wouldn't be imploding.

Terribly damaging CBO report. Countdown till Trump tries to discredit the entire group of them as Liars.

If I'm reading that correctly since there is not a mandate and they are not forcing people to buy insurance I guess the risk that's run or the problem that could occur is that now who pays for all those people who are going to go uninsured when they do have health problems?

That new report is very unfair...more lies by the dishonest media.

Donald, is that you?

Yes. CNN should be ashamed of themselves. The democrats are still reeling from their embarrassing loss.

All lies. Should apologize.

I have a great idea... Buy your own focking health insurance, and stop expecting others to pay your way.

that's how it was. Unfortunately, the greed of big pharma and the rest of the medical industry, got it made premiums too expensive for a large percentage of citizens. That led to too many uninsured people going to ER is and getting treated for free. Which drove costs up even more for those of us with insurance. Instead of anyone in politics having the balls to take on the greedy fucks to blame, they had to approach it this way.

There has to be jobs that pay a pittance to workers. It's inevitable. So why we expect them to be able to afford health care on top of everything else makes no sense. I just think basic health coverage is a right everyone should have. If a person doesn't make enough money, then how do they afford it?

simple, every working person pays X% of their income

Work 2 jobs. People with a shred of dignity do this all the time.

So easy for a single mom with a few kids.

my friends mom did it just fine, and both kids make 250k+ a year now

almost every state has casinos, go get a job at one of them

Although gambling for health has a nice ring to it, less than half the states have casinos.

Everyone acts like there are unlimited jobs out there that pay a decent wage. I don't know why it's so hard to understand. Someone has to work the low paying jobs. It's not hard, well I thought it wasn't at least.

If only those pesky poor people didn't get a vote. This would sail through.

The median household income is around &52k. What does insurance for a family of 3-4 cost, $10k/year? How many people in the US can afford to spend 20% of their gross family income on health insirance.

The biggest problem with healthcare is that almost nobody could afford it if it wasn't subsidized heavily by employers and they're deferring more and more of the cost onto workers each year. It is killing our economy.

It's more than that, I just had to look at the insurance option for our company, we're small, but a good plan for employee and family will cost about $1500 a month. You can always get cheaper but that insurance really stinks.

voting to rip health insurance away from 14 million people is a death sentence for reelection for any of those people. They will never be able to get that off of their record
