    Ahmad Bradshaw

He's been battling a foot injury most of the season, but John Clayton just said he's questionable for Monday nights game, which has been standard protocal, but Clayton sounded like it was iffy he'll be able to go. Is this just the same situation as previous weeks where he doesn't practice but starts on game day? Any Giants homers have information about his status for Monday night?

Sigh...accusation of collusion in the league

The trade itself isn't lopsided in any way. I'd imagine bro 1 is helping bro 2 but it's a fair trade. Who does bro 1 have at QB?

    Michael Vick

I think you're overstating things a bit. Despite Vicks struggles he's had success at the professional level as a starting QB. If Vick couldn't play at the professional level he never would have lasted this long in the NFL, and Andy Reid who's a good coach and knows a little more than you do about who can play QB at the professional level, wouldn't have had him QB his squad for the past 2-1/2 seasons. If he gets benched as the season progresses it won't take away from the fact he has been a productive QB for quite a few seasons and had success.

    Michael Vick

I saw something on ESPN today showing Vick has been pressured by opposing defenses more than any other QB in the league thus far. I'm sure this has a lot to do with the poor play of Vick and his receivers. Vick's made his fair share of mistakes, but if you consistantly pressure any QB they're going to make mistakes. The Eagles blaming Vick as if he's the main problem is stupid IMO.

    The old man

Warms my heart to see him having success at 37 years of age. Before the game, who would have thought the old Hawk still had some fight in him and would pick apart the Steelers on Thursday night football?! I'll be sleeping good tonight!

The Seahawks and the National Media

packattack23, if you read my thread, I said that I sympathize with Packer fans, and I feel it was a bad call. My comments weren't meant to rub it in the face of Packer fans, and my intension was not to argue about whether or not it was a touchdown or interception. I think it was an interception, but to call into question the Seahawks coaches and players integrity because they won't concede they lost, is nuts. The frustration should be directed towards the replacement refs and not the team who got the advanatage of the bad call. The main objective of my post, which most of you seem to have missed, was to point out, what I perceive, is a biased towards marquee teams by the national media, and how this biased, in this situation, has translated into some in the national media attacking the integrity of Seahawk players and coaches and accusing them of cheating. To make things worse, I think the national media has blown this thing out of proportion and got people worked up into a frenzy. Again, if rolls were reversed and the Hawks got screwed, I don't think the national media would have gone after the Packers players and coaches in the same way and accused them of cheating. I find it interesting that so many of the antagonists who have called Hawk fans whiners, and cryers, and other derogatory names all these years are now the ones whinning and crying about how the Hawks stole the game from the Packers, and demanding they admit that they lost. Who's being hypocrital?

The Seahawks and the National Media

What a travesty! The horror of it all! Listening to the national media you’d think the Seahawks and the replacement refs committed an act of domestic terrorism against the Packers. God forbid, the darlings of the NFL got the short end of the stick on MNF. How on earth could the lowly Seahawks from the land of rain and drizzle come out on top!? It’s not fair!! No one respects the Seahawks! How dare they think they can play football with the Green Bay Packers, let alone win! I understand the replacement refs have blown a lot of calls these first few weeks, and they blew several calls in the Packers/Seahawks game, especially on that last play. I totally get people being upset about the replacement refs, but, I can’t believe the amount of outrage that’s being spewed over this. After the game I heard an ESPN analyst, who I’m assuming is supposed to be somewhat unbiased, accuse Golden Tate and the Seahawks of cheating! Really? Also, I’ve heard several in the national media calling into question the integrity of Seahawk coaches and players because they won’t admit they lost the game! This is ridiculous, and there isn’t any other player or team in the NFL, if in the same position, who would throw concede to losing. People are beside themselves that the Packers lost because of that call, and I can’t help but think if roles were reversed there wouldn’t be anywhere near the same outrage we’re seeing from the national media. They might get after the NFL and replacement refs, but they wouldn’t go after the Packers in the same way they’ve gone after the Seahawk’s coaches and players. As you probably figured out I’m a lifelong Seahawk fan and I know first-hand what it feels like to get hosed by refs with bad calls. That’s right, we got freaking HOSED! The difference is, it cost the Seahawks a Super Bowl! The game last Monday was week three of the regular season, and it’s become a national tragedy! Where was the outrage from the national media back in 05 when the Hawks got hoodwinked by the refs? There were a few in the national media that spoke up about how poorly that game was called, but most were silent. Why? Because it’s the Seahawks and no one cares about the Seahawks. They were playing another darling of the NFL, the Steelers. The Seahawks were supposed to lose and the Steelers were supposed to win. The game ended exactly the way the national media wanted it to end and it didn’t matter how it got there. Again, I can’t help but think there’s more to the outrage than the replacement refs making a bad call. People can’t stand the fact the Seahawks got the benefit of that call and the Packers lost! I sympathize with Packer fans. It shouldn’t have gone down that way. But to all of you “fans of football” who stayed quiet when the Seahawks got screwed in the SB, but are now outraged because the Seahawks came out on top of that game, I have a few words for you… Stop your whining!

For those of u who have already drafted

Half point per/reception league I grabbed J Graham at 2.11 and thought that was pretty good value. Also got Bradshaw at 4.11 and Vick at 6.11.

One more thread about Chris Johnson

CJ owners can pick up a RB3 off the waiver wire in most leagues, so why trade him for one? You'll probably need to offer a bit more.
