snatchit 108 Posted September 25, 2014 They are running the wheels off Murray and he has never played a whole season. Dallas Oline is blowing massive holes open and they are committed to the run. Nothing but great things said about Randle at the Cowboy camp, and we have seen his explosiveness with our own eyes. I hope Murray last all season but just sayin. Its a crazy season
Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted September 25, 2014 I have him stashed wherever i have space as the biggest lottery ticket left on the market. If anything happens to murray i am going to be pretty well off in a lot of leagues. Well considering i have 1 league that doesnt have a losing record out of 7, it may be too late by then.
snatchit 108 Posted September 25, 2014 I need all the stashes I can get, I drafted Foster, Rice, CJ1 and Moreno. Getting by with Bradshaw and Blue who I got off WW. I am 2 and 1 and there is only 1 guy that has 3 wins. He's my biggest worry and he is a Murray owner
SaintsInDome2006 128 Posted September 25, 2014 Actually I think Randle could be even better in that offense than Murray.
illini9825 7 Posted September 25, 2014 Why him over Dunbar?
Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted September 25, 2014 Why him over Dunbar? Because dunbar is more change of pace while randle could handle the load.
snatchit 108 Posted September 25, 2014 Dunbar weighs 188 lbs, his job will be the same if Murray or Randle is in there
snatchit 108 Posted September 25, 2014 Dunbar will get a few more touches but it will be mostly Randle
typhus 13 Posted September 25, 2014 Actually I think Ryan Williams who is currently on the practice squad would be activated and easily would pass Randle up as the starter, if Murray were to go out.
murf74 461 Posted September 25, 2014 ok assuming you mean out of those not in high time share RBBC already ? Â I like Hyde the best, if Gore goes down he steps right in same RB style, no doubt about role either
Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted September 25, 2014 Actually I think Ryan Williams who is currently on the practice squad would be activated and easily would pass Randle up as the starter, if Murray were to go out. What in the world makes you think anything about ryan williams game can beat out anyone? Especially when randle looked good in the preseason. Worst post of the week.
ynotu 0 Posted September 25, 2014 Nobody will step right in and get Murrays workload. They will give the ball more to Romo and split the reduced number of carries pretty evenly between Dunbar and Randle.
DrMantisToboggan 5 Posted September 25, 2014 If Dunbar is truly 188lbs then he won't get more than 12 touches I would guess. Probably 3rd down back. Â Can Randle catch the ball and how big is he? Can he pop off an 80yd TD or is he more like Alfred Morris fast?
snatchit 108 Posted September 25, 2014 He is Murray's size I believe, he can catch and has speed

Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted September 26, 2014 You should take a closer look. Take a closer look at a guy who was constantly hurt and made his way onto a practice squad?
snatchit 108 Posted September 26, 2014 Randle is a stud in waiting, god forbid Murray getting hurt but if he does.... Randle will be very affective behind that oline and Dez stretching the field.
ynotu 0 Posted September 28, 2014 you obviously don't know what you are talking about YOU obviously dont know what you are talking about....so now...let the measuring contest begin.
tigeru 65 Posted September 28, 2014 With Ivory Robinson Asiata and Blue as my only rb I'll rotate these guys you suggest in and out. Who do I drop for Randle this week?
sirensong 111 Posted September 30, 2014 Nobody will step right in and get Murrays workload. They will give the ball more to Romo and split the reduced number of carries pretty evenly between Dunbar and Randle. Â Â not exactly. if murray goes down, randle becomes the starter and dunbar gets somewhat more involved in the run game. the only reason that dunbar is not on the field more is that the run game is working so well right now--if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Â i would expect to see a small increase in pass attempts, but a large number of these are going to go to the backs. so the RB touches would remain about the same, with randle getting somewhat more than dunbar (who is a package player), and williams vulturing some as well. ralphster 274 Posted September 30, 2014 Knile Davis is the best handcuff.
Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted September 30, 2014 Knile Davis is the best handcuff. I think the initial thought was who is the best handcuff available on most waivers. Davis is the best handcuff, but he is rostered in near 100% of leagues.
BobSanders_33 127 Posted September 30, 2014 I think this is a good obersvation. Davis and Hyde would have to be in front because they would be clearly the man in their backfields. Hyde gets a slight downgrade because Gore has been durrable. I'm going to be dropping Tali for him this week. Â I know some will say that Tali is already in a better situation and has already put up better numbers but his usage has been flukely. Until the game got out of hand he really wasn't getting used against Carolina and got a lucky 1 yard plunge.
edjr 5,547 Posted September 30, 2014 Murray hurt yet?
snatchit 108 Posted September 30, 2014 No Murray is fine and I hope he stays that way, just saying if something happens..... with that oline Randle would be an instant # 1 RB.
snatchit 108 Posted September 30, 2014 Knile Davis has been great too, like mentioned earlier... talking about a guy that is owned in about 2% of the league. If you have space, ya might want to stash him.
AintNoStoppinMeNow 68 Posted October 1, 2014 How would you rank the following handcuffs...Kniles Davis, Joseph Randle, Alfred Blue?
ian Potter 9 Posted October 1, 2014 Davis, Randel, blue. Â Davis shows he can produce. Â Randle much better o line and off. ( not gaurentee starting role though ) Â Blue- terrible off and unproven.

Until the game got out of hand he really wasn't getting used against Carolina and got a lucky 1 yard plunge. I have to say you might regret dropping Taliaferro. He's just the blend of power and finesse the ravens need as a feature back, w/ Forsett being a career scat-back/3rd down specialist. 'Ferro visibly hits the holes harder than Forsett and is surprisingly shifty in the open field, having better home-run hitting ability than even Forsett by having longer runs than him 2 games in a row. At the very least he'll get half the carries in this offense and be the primary GL back. A poor man's Mark Ingram, but healthy and with upside to become actual bellcow. A rich man's McKinnon, b/c he has no serviceable big back in front of him on the depth chart, but is also a rookie who struggles in pass-pro.
snatchit 108 Posted October 1, 2014 Davis, Randel, blue. Â Davis shows he can produce. Â Randle much better o line and off. ( not gaurentee starting role though ) Â Blue- terrible off and unproven. Â Davis is only shown he can produce because he got a chance to be the feature back. Randle is the hands down back up, not sure what you mean he isnt guaranteed a starting role ??? Whos it gonna be, 188 lb Dunbar ??? Just about every time in the few reliefs Randle has been in, he rips off a 7 or 8 yard run. He has had a fantastic off season and they are very high on him. I love it when people chime in and show their ignorance
Dueces Will Be Wild 15 Posted October 1, 2014 I think Davis, J. Hill, and Randle could all be RB1's if their starters got injured.
snatchit 108 Posted October 1, 2014 I think Davis, J. Hill, and Randle could all be RB1's if their starters got injured. I'll give you that, my point is Davis and Hill are owned in about 80 to 100% of the leagues. Dallas Oline is better, just saying
stonewall 647 Posted October 1, 2014 Andre Williams must be mentioned
Giants Fan 85 Posted October 1, 2014 Ka'Deem Carey.
dave32 14 Posted October 1, 2014 Love this thread. Obviously guys like Davis and Hyde are the "best" handcuffs, but picking up guys like Randle and Carey? No one else is thinking of them right now.
Giants Fan 85 Posted October 1, 2014 Carey went 14 for 72 this week, so .... some ppl are thinking about him.
fanfootballtn 33 Posted October 1, 2014 This thread makes me feel like watching my co-workers pool in to buy a lottery ticket and saying " You are the only one who will be left here if we hit the power ball tomorrow." The only difference is I have a better chance of watching Murray go down than actually hitting the lottery.
snatchit 108 Posted October 1, 2014 I like Carey too, we have seen so many RB injurys. Why not back up the very elite guys ? If you have some # 4 or # 5 WR on your bench dump him. If you ever get in a pinch on WR there is always someone on the WW any given week. I grabbed Royal last week when I had AJ Green and Sanders on a bye. Don't listen to people that say Dunbar is the primary back up, he was drafted late from a lot of people thinking that. He still has a bit a value, for a little guy he is pretty good... they talked about getting him involved this year but really haven't much
