cavern 70 Posted January 17, 2018 i have seen reference to deep roster dynasty. i even tried to start one. what i found was, very quickly, several owners got buried very quickly and, with essentially no players on the waiver wire - they had no feeling that they had any hope whatsoever to climb out of the cellar. so, i basically had people bailing. i "fixed it" by changing it to a more shallow roster situation. it's probably better described as a 12 player keeper (keep 12) rather than dynasty at this point. i know part of the issue is i did not have an original 12 owner pool that were all equal so as to not get top heavy. maybe others have had such dynamics that have trended toward shallower rosters? ralphster 274 Posted January 18, 2018 Most of the leagues I'm in are "catch and release" dynasty; 12 teams/20 man rosters, several with 4 man taxi squads (populated by rookie and 2nd year players only). Teams get 3 years with players not on taxi, then must trade or release. Helps to keep one or two teams from dominating for long stretches. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
