crackattack 513 Posted June 20, 2012 Would you actively try to discourage your kids from ever taking up smoking? I dont have kids.....but of course I would.
MTSkiBum 1,594 Posted June 20, 2012 I dont have kids.....but of course I would. Wouldnt the higher price of cigarettes also discourage teenagers from taking up smoking?
crackattack 513 Posted June 20, 2012 Wouldnt the higher price of cigarettes also discourage teenagers from taking up smoking? Why is this about teens? I don't care what other tax paying adults do with money they work for, and spend it on something thats legal. I don't care about a 16 year old trying to buy cigs.....not my problem. Would you actively try to discourage your kids from the queer life because of the risks of contracting deadly diseases at a much higher rate than non queers? OldMaid 1,838 Posted June 20, 2012 You buy your smokes in bundles? In the U.K. smokes are often referred to as fags.
Bishop82 61 Posted June 20, 2012 As a smoker from Chicago, I do plan on quiting at some point. And do NOT plan on driving to IND for smokes. HTH

HTH What if your neighbor goes to IND, would you buy from him? What if you are driving through IND, would you pick up smokes for yourself and friends? How many cartons? Probably not, I don't smoke enough to justify it. I smoke about a pack every 3 days. When our kid is born in September, I'll look into quiting.
penultimatestraw 473 Posted June 20, 2012 Of course I do. I work in the medical field also. One of the places I work at is an oncology facility. Respiratory therapy? I've never seen so many smokers elsewhere in the medical field. Do you want to quit? If so, what has influenced your decision? If not, why? But you are right that smokers get the shaft, but they are voluntarily giving themselves a bigger one, so it is hard to feel sympathy. Alcohol and junk food get off relatively easy.
