sinman2224 0 Posted July 22, 2006 yes...rudi is an upgrade and ward is only a slight downgrade.
sharkie22 0 Posted July 22, 2006 I would. Westbrook misses a couple games each year and since no PPR his value diminishes somewhat. Rudi also offers more in the way of TD's. I happen to think Ward will see a slight rise in receptions and yardage from last year and his TD's about the same, maybe a couple less. Moss offers risk he'll miss a few games based on consecutive years and TO's almost a lock to miss a couple so Ward offers more continuity.
Striker99 0 Posted July 22, 2006 so this rly is an upgrade for my team?
sharkie22 0 Posted July 22, 2006 so this rly is an upgrade for my team? Overall yes. I think you would be more consistent and less at risk at RB. You do lose a fair amount of potential at WR but also reduce the risk there a bit. Maybe. The benefit at RB, I think, would out weigh the possible reduction at WR. Great White Hope 0 Posted July 22, 2006 I would not do this trade. This to me looks like a trade just for the sake of making a trade. It is pretty even. I guess you could argue about the merits of it until you are blue in the face. Sure, there is probably more consistency with Rudi and Ward, but you lose the potential of big years out of both Westbrook and Moss. You don't know for sure what Carson Palmer will do this year, and you have Roethlisberger, who is getting better from his motorcyle accident. Those two factors would make me stand pat and be happy with what I have. Good Luck!!
