What Rank did you ETS

Recommended Posts

That is assuming you were in the Military.

Me = yes. Army.

And even though I was an E-6 at a point, I left as a Spec 4.

I know most of you didn't serve but I'm sure a few did.

Anybody attain Officer status. I'm thinking no.

There's a chance one of you guys made to Sergeant First Class.

So brag if you wish but tell the truth.

I echo this sentiment 100%. My son is currently at Misawa in Japan after spending a couple years in Germany. He loves the USAF and all that he is doing. I am kinda jealous.

Holy Hell. Did you still have eligible time for IRR recall? I'd have been on pins and needles.

Mine was September 1, 2001. Took them about seven months to call me off IRR.

So you were out.... got dragged back in... then stuck around?

Why'd you change your mind?

If I were pulled off IRR I'd have been seething mad furious.

I liked serving, the extra cash was nice. Its only reserve duty. Then I hit the ten year mark, then I had to do a year of active, then they paid for my MBA, next thing you know, Im sanctuary and I have a retirement

Yes cheers to all former active military and to the seemingly multiple geeks who retroactively seem to have now served as well. Thanks for the service. Maybe in another alias I will have served as well.

Nope. You still wouldn't be service material using the other alias either.

Just best to stick to what you're good at - supporting poozy hats and transgender bathroom rights.

Why would people lie about this stuff? Lying about being a veteran in the Geek Club doesn't get you half off at the Denny's in Tupelo.

I'm guessing he's just lashing out for feeling inadequate.

Multiple instances of stolen valor have been uncovered here over the years.

Ok EternallyStupidandClueless, I support neither side of politics. I’m just not hanging off the right wing by my fingertips like you and the other two dipstick triplets do.

Closest I got to the gulf was Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. Served with a bunch of guys who were in Beirut.
